Good seafood but pricy

Good food and high prices. The service is slow. The restaurants in Spain are not for ordering your food, eat it and leave. It is a whole experience involving getting together, spending a good time, chatting, drinking and sampling the best food in the planet offered in tapas.

We stopped there on our first day not knowing if we get ourselves in a tourist trap. But the daily menus "menu deal dia" was actually a good deal! 12 euro for starter, main and desert with bread and drinks. My wife and me got a whole bottle of wine in the price! Food was good but not exceptional. Portions... More

Having walked throughout Barceloneta, it was time to sit down at an outdoor terrace for a late lunch, and this restaurant was simply a great find. Having noticed that there were lots of locals at many tables, which is usually a good sign, My wife and I sat at a sunny table and shared a paella with some catalunyan rosé... More

Amazingly large seafood platter on their first page of their menu. It comes with a small basket of bread. Not so sure about their other choices but seafood is grilled and absolutely fresh. You will leave full and satisfied.

Great food for good price :) we enjoyed our time. You should visit this place :) The attention is good and even the waiter speaks different languages and takes selfies with customers.

We were greeted by a very friendly woman outside as we walked along. We decided to try the restaurant. The waiter pointed at the table he wanted us to sit at, we sat down. He walked off to watch some boxing on the huge TV inside the restaurant (there were around 5 waiting staff stood there watching sports for the... More

We had a long day being on foot in Barcelona where we stumbled upon this restaurant, steps away from the beach. It is a halal local restaurant with quite extensive menus to choose from. Had our first seafood paella here and thought it was good ( had honestly no idea what the original would've taste like). Price is somewhat similar... More

The road that this restaurant is situated in is littered with places to eat! It's virtually impossible to chose which one to go into or which one to trust. I walked up and down this street and had many waiters approach me but the reason why I chose to eat here is because it was already starting to get busy... More

Staying in Barceloneta

Neighborhood Profile
Barceloneta
Originally a fisherman’s quarter, this quaint area can’t escape its small village feel: laundry hanging over the narrow streets, old ladies clamoring at each other from their balconies and elder gentlemen playing games on short wooden benches gossiping the day away, Barceloneta could double as a film set. Artists line the boardwalk displaying their magnificently detailed sand structures making this the most visited beach in the city (the shirtless men working out might help too). You’ll know by the delicious aroma that you're in the right place to try some of the best and most authentic seafood including paella, Spain’s national dish.
