When hunger strikes during a day wandering nearby Ciutadella Park and Barcelonas Olympic Port, Dionissos restaurant makes a calm, contemporary retreat for a nice a la carte Spanish meal. Youll find at the H10 Marina Barcelona, a striking ten-storey hotel within walking distance of the Gothic Quarter. Dionissoss large open dining area wears well its minimalist design of earthy dark walls decorated with blood-red art dramatically matched with neutral formal tableware and low-backed designer-style armchairs. It all looks pretty luxurious. Fittingly, the kitchen effortlessly serves a mellow sunshiney choice of Mediterranean dishes made all the more memorable by something from the well-chosen fine wine list.

Enjoyable meal

Good service, fair prices for a hotel restaurant, food was most enjoyable. Sadly the restaurant was lacking in atmosphere and was too clinical.

Food was very average and wasn't much to choose from, had paella and it was like eating sea water! Was very fishy. Waiters were very attentive

Excellent food with staff to match, highly recommend. A few little surprise tasters and the wine was excellent and so much cheaper than in the UK!

Dionissos restaurant was part of the hotel we were staying in. On our first night we dined here. It was lovely and there was a great choice on the menu. The staff were very helpful. We got a wonderful bottle of Merlot for €16 which we thought was great value.

A good option if you're exhausted and don't want to wander out, but the menu is limited and prices are stiff. I enjoyed the Dionissos salad and the "mosaic" of octopus.

I read the previous reviews and was sceptical about this restaurant. On the other hand I was obliged to eat here since I stayed in the hotel. It was a pleasant surprise. The prices expecially for the menu were reasonable since everything in thw city was quite expensive. I recommend it definitely.

Expensive, and what you get is a joke. Not even kiddie sized. You would have to order two lots of everything. So a decent sized pasta dish would cost you €18. You decide!

We ate here as we were staying at the hotel and received a 25% off voucher. We would not normally eat in the hotel restaurant but did so since we had this offer. The service was very very slow, though the staff were friendly. The food was ok, though the starter portions were so huge that we were both full... More

Everything especially the food and service. There was no pressure to move on and the staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The food was reasonable price and excellent. Only comment would be the lighting was very bright for evening dining.

We ate here as we were staying in the hotel but it was a terrible mistake. The service was poor and my wife's main course never appeared. No explanation or apology was given and they tried to charge for both meals - which we had to argue about to get the missing food deducted. Our advice - eat anywhere locally... More

The sounds of Marina Olympica's rocking boats and clicking mastheads swaying to and fro set an impressive backdrop for Ciutadella and Villa Olimpica. Follow the aromas of garlic, wine, and fresh local fish to the various restaurants running along the marina.
