This is a tourist trap that exists to rip you off, ordered a salad which resulted in an upset stomach, was offered bread which came with some ham which added an additional 20 euros to the bill !! Food is poor quality and overpriced.

Having been for a walk down to the harbour along La Rambla we needed a drink. I ordered a small beer and for my wife a small Sangrias. What we got was what seemed to be a pint of each! This did not bother me regarding the beer but my wife is not a big drinker and was quite distressed... More

We stopped here after walking all of La Ramblas - they had huge glasses of Sangrias and the appetizers are a lot of food! Enjoy people watching while relaxing here. Nice place fun staff!

All of the staff are too busy competing with other restaurants to get the customers that they don't realise they are being rude and giving awful service to the customers they already have. Myself and my partner sat down in the restaurant and asked for the 13Euro meal deal each which consisted of 3 tapas each, a pizza as the... More

We stopped here one afternoon for a drink which I must say was fine and the afternoon waiter friendly and attentive. However when we returned the next evening it was a mistake to return, especially to eat. We ordered steak which was supposed to be medium but was like shoe leather and King Prawns that gave me upset stomach. The... More

Today we visited there. We were four person. First of all the drinks were so expensive. Pepsi was aproximately 6 euros. The waiter brings some bread to the table. And breads were 8 euros. We thought that they were free. Also the tapas were not good. It was not worth 49 euros. You can eat better and cheaper tapas in... More

It was with relief that we sat down at this restaurants's outdoor eating area, out of the sun. When my wife asked for a small draught beer the waiter indicated the huge glass at the table next door and said there was only large beers. My wife thought he was joking and again asked for a small beer. At this... More

Staying in La Rambla

Neighborhood Profile
La Rambla
Barcelona's most famous street was once a dry riverbed. Now, La Rambla is a 1200-meter boulevard, and a major draw for visitors. During the day, La Rambla fills with pedestrians, some of which stroll past impressive human statues and artists while others take a break to people-watch while enjoying a drink at one of the many terraces. Housed here is the iconic Boqueria Market that offers one of the most varied and appetizing selections of local produce and specialty meats and treats. While it’s important for tourists to keep an eye on their belongings at all times, this area is most safely explored in the daytime and is a must see for everyone who visits.
