We decided on lunch on La Rambla, and chose this restaurant from the many available. It was a mistake. My meal of sea food spaghetti, was quite good until I found a large piece of broken plastic, in it. I drew the waiters attention to this which he said was a piece of calamari!! There was no doubt that it... More

A well set up restaurant in La Rambla. When we saw the big glasses of sangria others were sipping as we walked by we couldn't resist. Took a seat and were immediately asked "sangria or beer" before we saw a menu or drinks list. Of course...we said sangria!. The glasses were massive and took some serious time to finish as... More

This was an expensive place to have our sangria, but to their credit the service was good and sangria big. When other restaurants' terraces on La Rambla refused to sell only drinks without eating, here they immediately arranged for a table. The location is OK as you can watch the life on La Rambla from your table.

The picture of a mixed platter of seafood looked very promising and when 5-6 small plates on a high stand reached the table I thought this was promising indeed. But too much squid (calamari) in three different ways and octopus not properly washed so it still crunched from grit and small prawns that had been frozen and overcooked (so it... More

Ok do I made several mistakes, but I was not forced to stop here, the food was not bad, but the prices were high, but again I saw the menu and could have left. When I paid the bill the waiter asked if I wanted to include a tip, he said ,when asked that it is not included. So being... More

The sangrias and beers are large, yes, but be not mistanken, YOU pay the price! Fatty sausages, tasteless meatballs, stale scampi, storebought aioli... The list is endless! Situated right on las Ramblas, but the tables are tilted and wobbly and the train below shakes and rattles them. And to top it all off? Expensive! Avoid! Walk past! Don't stop! They... More

We stopped here for lunch on our first full day in Barcelona. We were a family of seven. The waiter quickly put together two tables and seated us. I had an Italian salad (tomato and mozzarella cheese). The food was OK, the waiters were friendly. The prices were a little high but we expected as much to sit and eat... More

The restaurant sits right on La Rambla, so it was perfect for a hot summer night. The server was very enthusiastic about dragging us into the restaurant, but his ardor stopped the minute we sat down. All the servers were Pakistani - which isn't a problem until they ignored all the customers who wasn't. We waited a long time to... More

Our first day in Barcelona and were hungry after flying and checking in at hotel. This place looked good from the street, so we stopped. OMG - just about everything was horrible, but worst of all was the cost at the end of it. Prawns were probably frozen, but overcooked so they are so soft they were hardly edible. Squid... More
