Not the best

Pushy people will drag you in, the offers seem good on boards on the outside but there are no sign of these offers in the menu. Had the mixed tapas for 2, not the best to be honest, Luke warm to cold. Large beer 10 euros, sangria 12 euros. It's on the ramblas as well so add on the fear... read more

It was with relief that we sat down at this restaurants's outdoor eating area, out of the sun. When my wife asked for a small draught beer the waiter indicated the huge glass at the table next door and said there was only large beers. My wife thought he was joking and again asked for a small beer. At this... More

Located in the start of La Rambla it is a nice place to take a rest before walking the famouse street. I liked the food and the wine and nice people working there.

It's a touristic place, with good location. Food with normal price, but drinks are very very overpriced (for one cup of Sangria 11,90 EUR). Typical Spanish taste.

I promised myself never to eat again in the middle of La Rambla but events transpired and we ended up at this 'restaurant'. Service was fine, wine and beer expensive but ok - food appalling. Badly cooked, tawdry taste - just a tourist trap - so you might want to avoid.

Meal (paella) was large, testy, with lot of marine foods, but you will very surprised by the bill for drinks... because no drinks menu at the place. the 50 cent beer is 10 euro for 0,5 litre. Beer glass was crushed and dirty.

This was the worst place we went to eat in Barcelona. Offered drinks immediately, no prices available, chose a beer and a lemonade... Nearly 20 euros!!!! Yes they are large, but you can't buy a smaller size. The food was poor through out, we ordered the tapas deal and pizza for 13 euro, they didn't have some of the food... More

Great location on La Rambla, friendly waiters, reasonably priced. Try the 45E tapas...well worth it. However, nipping in for just a drink over lunchtimes was a problem even when it was quiet!

You could sit inside at Tapa i Apat, but why be a hermit when you can sit out on the main waling thoroughfare and watch the world go by? Great seafod. Had the paella de mariscos loaded with all sorts of nice choices of scallops, mussels, octopus and shrimp. But the mussels by themselves as an appetizer stand out. Very... More

Staying in La Rambla

Neighborhood Profile
La Rambla
Barcelona's most famous street was once a dry riverbed. Now, La Rambla is a 1200-meter boulevard, and a major draw for visitors. During the day, La Rambla fills with pedestrians, some of which stroll past impressive human statues and artists while others take a break to people-watch while enjoying a drink at one of the many terraces. Housed here is the iconic Boqueria Market that offers one of the most varied and appetizing selections of local produce and specialty meats and treats. While it’s important for tourists to keep an eye on their belongings at all times, this area is most safely explored in the daytime and is a must see for everyone who visits.
