The food would have rated an "Average", it was OK but nothing to write home about. I've rated as "Poor" because of the experience. The waiter wanted us to order drinks without a menu. Ordered water and he brought 2 bright blue bottles that looked expensive. I sent one back and got scowled at, I had already declined the offer... More

We stumbled on this restaurant as we were walking up La Rambla and decided to chose the first place we saw. Our first mistake, as we seem to have chosen the most expensive restaurant there. We saw the prices and just assumed that it would be expensive anywhere on La Rambla. We ordered sparingly so as to save money and... More

We went here after enjoying the stalls at La Rambla on our 6th day in Barceona and it was the worst experience we've had yet in any eatery. We decided to eat here as it was the first restaurant we came to and it looked fairly decent. Looks can be deceiving. The waiters were unattentive and seemed more interested in... More

We sat down at this restaurant largely because we were very hungry and this was the first palace we saw. The staff were rude and stood sharing cigarettes in the corner. After finally taking our order they asked if we would like bread and ham, we nodded partly because we presumed it would be a typical appetiser: not so. It... More

Nice restaurant on the Rambla, but beware the drinks are very, very expensive. A glass of Sangria €25 and a glass of Fanta €6.27, but the meals were in keeping with other restaurants.

Being a typical tourist in Barcelona we walked at La Rambla and got hungry and that was a nice restaurant on our way. Food is italian with spanish tapas and paella. We had seafood pasta. I had the one with cuttlefish ink. Okay maybe I just don't like the ink, but it was not too tasty, was just okay. A... More

Keen to try some authentic seafood tapas whilst in Barcelona, and was served an impressive looking selection in fairness, along with a giant beer (!). Good location, you can sit watch the world go by along the La Rambla and worth a try - first time I'd eaten squid anyway!
