Description: Welcome to Gilda by Belgious! Dedicated to the fading art of good service and fine, flavorful food at a good price, we seek out the freshest, quality ingredients to ensure your experience is of the highest calibre from beginning (our delectable gourmet tapas) to end (our mouth watering house-made deserts)! Since we are part of Belgious, don't be surprised to discover that some of our dishes come with wasabi, ginger, curry or even cannabis ice-cream ! Our kitchen opens every evening from 18:30 till midnight (even later during weekends), meaning you can even walk in at 23:45 and still enjoy dinner with us. If you would like to try our gastronomy at noon, we do open the restaurant -prior reservation- for private groups as of 15 guests (Ideal for celebrations or company related luncheons).

This restaurants boasts a cosmopolitan polyglot staff, everyone was extremely friendly and efficient. The menu was very Belgian, makes a change from the Catalonian fare. Food was very good value, well presented and a good selection of wine. The restaurant is fairly small and intimate. Definitely recommend.

We celebrated our anniversary at this cozy, charming restaurant. We had great food, salmon and a chicken curry dish, recommended bottle of white wine, Caprese salad, chocolate mousse and coffee for a total of 63 euros. Highly recommend

We have become regular visitors to Barcelona as a result of our love of good food. I always do my research beforehand and shortlist a few restaurants. I booked Gilda beforehand as I had read that it was a small establishment and due to it's popularity filled up quite quickly. On arrival we were greeted by a very  friendly waiter... More

Nice and busy little stop on Calle Ample, staff was very friendly and the endive and ham tapas dish proved to be one of the best of the night across many stops. They have two entrances one more of a restaurant and the second door is a small bar which is better for a quicker less formal style of eating.... More

We were so fortunate to take an adventurous and leisurely stroll through El Born to find this lovely little place. Selina graciously greeted and accommodated us in a nice spot away from the other guests, and offered us her opinions when asked what the best items were on the menu. We had the mussels and tuna tapas and they were... More

Carrer Ample is such a wonderful street to drink and eat. It's in the Gothic quarter, just in the streets close to the shore line. Check out the other places as well. This evening we were looking for a third great place to have tapas. Actually we tried Barceloneta were we found an artistic place with vegetarian food, not our... More

Overall great place. It was busy and only later did we start to learn about poor service standards in Spain. So comparatively, this was average service with above average food. Compared to other later venues, a really nice place.

The food was creative and very tasty. Service was a little slow but the food was worth the wait. Highly recommend the shrimp with curry ice cream, meatballs, and the tuna tataki. Would love to go back!

I absolutely loved this place! It was such a great, tiny place and perfect for a romantic meal. After a week in Barca we decided to have our final meal here, and I am so glad we did! The menu had so many tempting dishes that I wish we found this place sooner. After recommendation from our friendly waiter, I... More
