Great Little Gem!

Had a great experience at Luki recently. The restaurant is truly a little gem in the Pobe Sec area of Barcelona. The restaurant is very unique and has really intriguing and alternative decor. The food is very good. We had a delicious range of dishes including duck with wild red berry sauce. The... read more

We had the 'menu del dia' for lunch, including 3 courses to choose, bread and a drink for only 10,90. It was good to finaly find a restaurant where all 3 courses were good, and not just one star dish. Also small things like English speaking staff and fresh bread seem to be rare, but Luki got it all. With... More

We ordered 2 ceviche. They were quite small and the taste pretty plain. They also charged us for a couple piece of bread. This is not a horrible place but I wouldn't recommend it either.

The food was different. Peruvian style. I had baked salmon with creamed onion sauce and potatoes, it was really good. My husband had the cured cod and then the baby cuttlefish and fava beans. All three dishes had lots of flavour. Service was also delightful.

We visited Liki after seeing good reviews on TipAdvisor - so glad we did! Hidden away in a little square in Poble Sec area, Luki is by far the best restaurant we ate at whilst visiting Barcelona and we would highly recommend! The decor is perfect, really quirky and not like anywhere you will have visited before. The service was... More

Found the place by luck. It's a charming, eclectic little restaurant, with a cheap, yet varied and good quality lunch offer. Excellent service, just what you expect of a relaxing lunch on your way. 10,90 € for three-course meal + coffee + beverage.

I had their specialty...something about smashed eggs and potatoes. It's really a simple dish but the fresh boiled potatoes are wonderful. Carrot cake was excellent and homemade. So fun. Worth the trip.

The interior of Luki is something special. We stopped here for the tasty 10 Euro lunch menu (inc. bread and a drink). We would highly recommend the ribs-they were fabulous! I wish that we had time to re-visit during our stay.

I had lunch at Luki. It was very decent food for a decent price. It is located on one of gazzilion public squares in Barcelona - part of the charm being to just observe the local life as it happens around you.

Staying in Montjuic

Neighborhood Profile
Montjuic
Beyond the four columns standing guard at the Plaça Espanya, beyond even the extravagant and colorful fountains guiding your way up the boulevard, stands the impressive and towering structure of the Palau Nacional, the national museum. At this very spot in front of the cascades of the central fountain, Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballe gave the performance of their lifetimes to welcome the 1992 Olympic Games to this magnificent city. And true to its anticipation, the games transformed the city, reimagining the mountain of Montjuic with the development of an arena, stadium, and many other sporting facilities that are open to visitors year-round. Surrounding the adjacent side of the plaza are well-established hotels catering to business guests and a shopping mall transformed out of a historic bullfighting arena.
