Service was impeccable, food is amazing! Meat melts in the mouth, ceviche very nice. Small but well decorated and comfortable. Good value for food. We recommend it and will be coming back.

Had two excellent homestyle Catalon meals. The enviroment was like a family room, the staff welcoming and helpful. But the food made the day. Migas the old way, smashed eggs kn potatoes not french fries, fish grilled perfectly. The Iberico "surprise" was a slow cooked pork delight that melted in your mouth. Desserts were traditional, particulalry the torrijas. Intimate home... More

Great service, yummy food at a reasonable set menu price for lunch! The service was provided by friendly, down-to-earth servers; the owner was enthusiastic and helpful too. They were diligently able to accomodate/modify for a gluten sensitivity - which was appreciated! I enjoyed eating here twice during my trip to Barcelona! A nice setting, slightly away from the tourist buzz,... More

if you want to pay 8 Eur for one egg over mashed potatoes, and hear a very noisy door smashing against the doorframe every few minutes this is the place for you!

Tucked away on a little square off the beaten track but well worth looking for. We had 3 courses and a glass of wine at lunchtime for 10.90 . The price and quality of the food make it worth trying and its decorated in a quirky but lovely style. The waiter spoke good English and described each course to us... More

Gem of a place tucked away on a quaint square. The decor inside is wonderful - such an inspiring place to sit in and enjoy the most delicious food. The waiters were friendly and welcoming. Just a lovely place. Will go back for sure.

Staying in Montjuic

Neighborhood Profile
Montjuic
Beyond the four columns standing guard at the Plaça Espanya, beyond even the extravagant and colorful fountains guiding your way up the boulevard, stands the impressive and towering structure of the Palau Nacional, the national museum. At this very spot in front of the cascades of the central fountain, Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballe gave the performance of their lifetimes to welcome the 1992 Olympic Games to this magnificent city. And true to its anticipation, the games transformed the city, reimagining the mountain of Montjuic with the development of an arena, stadium, and many other sporting facilities that are open to visitors year-round. Surrounding the adjacent side of the plaza are well-established hotels catering to business guests and a shopping mall transformed out of a historic bullfighting arena.
