Fabulous food with great prices!

We arrived at 3.40pm and weren't sure if we would be able to eat as so close to closing time. However, the lovely friendly waiter showed us to a table. We weren't sure what the menu was as outside it is in Spanish however again the lovely waiter went through this in English for us and explained it... read more

The food and it's presentation just terrific, stuff very friendly. And the prizes amazingly low - loved it and will come back.

Codiun Restaurant staff wishes to inform that this saturday night we had to invite to leave the restaurant this three customers because of their bad behavior and their no education, screaming all the time and shaming other clients and the service as well. They arrived late than the book was done when the kitchen was almost closed and then they... More

Very friendly place. The tasting menu at 40euro pp is an absolute bargain, very high quality cooking. In my opinion they could have refrained a bit more from giving a " twist" on certain dishes, the best dishes I think were the simpler ones, but just executed very well and good ingredients. We were surprised this place was so quiet... More

Friendly and attentive staff, and thought provoking food! We had the tasting menu with wine. The waiter explained what we were eating and how to eat each of the 8 courses. A great experience. Not inexpensive, but worth it!!

They have spent a lot of time on this restaurant; working the menu and the wines to compliment. Even the standard of the croquets was so different. Well worth a visit. Be warned the mains are not large but fantastic.

When we arrived we were left waiting for some good minutes after having said we had a reservation and with tables visibly free.. Then it took 20 minutes to order, even drinks and when we asked what was included in one of the menus, the waiter replied that he does not know and that he is doing an internship. so... More

I was attending a conference in Barcelona and wanted to take some Directors and Clients out for dinner. We opted for the tasting menu at a very reasonable €40pp and were not disappointed. The food was absolutely amazing, very unusual combinations but they worked so well together. Everyone particularly enjoyed the tuna and the duck. The wine was delicious and... More

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
