As a chef I hate paying others to cook but this place was lovely really nice staff, very patent (trying to order in broken Spanish/English) pasta was a little under cooked but the soup was very tasty, the price was great, and the look of the place was really nice. We got a 2 course meal and a Hugh portion... More

Ordered the menu of the month. Bacon and onion pasta. When I asked where was the bacon, they said it is very fine?!?!?? Must be bacon flavour spice as there was no traces or taste of it. Chef/girl that served was not too pleasant to deal with. It doesn't take a lot to be nice or pleasant.

Small restaurant tucked in the back streets with a help yourself approach. Bright well designed modern Interior. You choose the pasta and the sauce. There is a good selection of sauces to choose from. However, flavours are sometimes overdone. The bolognaise sauce had far too strong herb taste. The vinegrette in the salad was too sweet. Nevertheless, worth a visit.

We were craving a little of Italy in Barcelona, so we found the Pasta Bar. It is a relatively new restaurant on a side street off La Rambla. You order what you want at the counter, then find a table and wait for your food to be ready. You choose your pasta, your sauce, and your topping. You can also... More

I am a vegetarian, and said that, and that I don't want cheese in it. I thought it was clear than that I don't want eggs as well. So I ordered the pasta in good faith. And the people there did not even apologize. Really bad. The pasta was good though, before I realized it contained eggs.

Was there with my girlfriend. Found through travel advisor, and glad we did. Very nice pastas, at very reasonable Prices. The pasta was fresh made, which was great (you see them make it on the spot sometimes). Staff was friendly and spoke English well. Great experience in short. Also open until quite late (00:00) which is awesome.

I was looking for somewhere to eat on day one of my visit to Barcelona (10th September 2014) so I did some exploring in the area where I was staying and came across the Pasta Bar. I almost went past it without a thought when I glanced through the window and saw someone processing some fresh pasta in a machine.... More

When I saw it I thought "What a wonderful idea". You can choose any type of pasta with any sauce available. So you could create your own pasta. We were three of us and so we did. the problem was with the sauces. They were more or less tasteless, and we felt a little bit disappointed. Anyway, the staff was... More

We were there for dinner with our 14 month old baby and couple of friends. It's self service so the service was excellent :) The portions were big, the taste was great and the atmosphere was lovely. Recommended.
