Good Food and Service

The food was very good with plenty of vegetarian choices and the price was very reasonable for the area. The onion pakoras were excellent and so was aloo gobi. If you are into Indian food this is an excellent choice in the Ramblas are.

We stayed in Barcelona for three days in Ramblas area. This was Indian restaurant nearby. We took daily dinners here. Food was pure Indian authentic. We enjoyed the food. All Indian varieties were available. Even staff were speaking Hindi so nicely. Staff sang Indian songs for us.

I have yet to find good Indian food in BCN This food was like home-made curry - know what I mean? - rather than good restaurant food Also lots of ghee, as others have mentioned. which is quite common in north Indian cooking OK but better places to spend your euros in BCN

Best Indian food I ever had in Europe, please don't miss the most authentic coriander chutney. One of the most authentic home made food.

Good Indian with a north Indian touch. Decent portions. Authentic taste for Indian travelers. May be bit oily/buttery for western travelers

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
