Watch out for your change

The food is average, the service is average and the waiting staff are miserable! They are reluctant to give you change and think it is their tip!! We had to follow them to get our change!! There are better places to eat and get better service with a smile!!

The waiters were very unfriendly and as I gave 50 euros to pay for my 34 euro bill, I had to chase after them for more than 20 minutes to get my change. Even though our food was not bad, I would not go back there at all. Just wander a bit further and you will find many friendly and... More

This was my 3rd visit for dinner at this restaurant in 3 separate visits to Barcelona in the last 4 years and I would definitely go back again. The service and food remain excellent. The clams in white wine on the Tapas menu are well worth a try and a decent bottle of white or rose wine starts at just... More

Often with restaurants in hot climates, the location and outdoor seating is key. This restaurant, just to the left of the Cathedral of Barcelona in the Gothic Quarter, has the outdoor seating done perfectly. The tables with the best sun/view are reserved for diners only, so you don't end up eating your lunch/dinner amidst drunk, belligerent and sunburnt Brits. They... More

Very ideally located for tourists with tired legs, and I gave myself a mental slap in the face after we sat down for even considering this as an alternative lunch place. Expencive, poor coffe, soulless food, and a waiter in desperate need of a new carreer.

Wife and I ate here about two hours ago. Great location, service was great despite not speaking a lot of English and the food was fantastic (seafood paella and Tostado iberico sandwich). Full bottle of Sauvignon blanc for 10 euros, which was a good price. Would definitely recommend.

We ate here late on a Monday night having stumbled across it looking for somewhere to eat. For starters, assortment of cold cuts and chicken Caesar salad, for mains chicken breast and steak with peppercorn sauce. All the dishes were excellent, especially the steak. I made the mistake of asking for a 'cerveza grande' and ended up with a litre... More

You are forced to order three dishes per person, or some tapas and a second dish. I don't know if the dishes were good or not because we did not stay to taste them.

We had the worst server we have had in our lives. This includes slamming the plates on the table, taking glasses and plates off while interrupting conversation and lifting them on top of our heads, talking rude to us, etc. It was simply a very uncomfortable meal.... The food was on par with the service. A disgusting rissoto with a... More

The Christmas markets were on and it was very busy with both tourists and spanish shoppers, this restaurant was right outside and in the shadows of the cathedral a great setting we thought for an evening meal and drink. We were asked if we wanted to sit in /out we wanted to be outside as the atmosphere was lovely. BE... More
