Tapas was great especially the mussels. Got the house white, it was perfect for the seafood. While for the mains, paella was pretty decent but definitely not the salmon and lamb.

I am a pretty big foodie and this really was one of the best meals I have ever eaten. I just got back to my hotel from a dinner at Tinglado. It was outstanding. The service was incredible and the food even better. We had the prawns, salad and sea bass along with cava sangria. The fish was honestly perfectly... More

As a first time visitor to Barcelona, I was impressed! It was formal enough but not too formal to be stuffy! You could tell that in addition to a great dinner, fun was being served throughout. It was also situated in a great location on the waterfront.

My steak was very nice, although the veg was caped in oil. We found the waiter very helpful. The salad was not dressed very well, but it did come with four large pieces of tomato bread which ended up being an ample starter for two. My partner went for the Seabass which was of an ample size even for me,... More

The restaurant is located in a very touristic area but I think it's represent a positive balance with a quite good quality of food. The staff is very professional and welcoming.

El Tinglado is located along the marina, right where you expect to find loads of restaurants serving average quality food made for tourists, well that wasn't the case here. We had just arrived in Barcelona and we were hungry, so we weren't looking for anything exceptional, just something to quell the hunger, and in my opinion we got more than... More

Came in as a part of a tour group. The ambience very bright and inviting. The beer was super cold, the brushetta smooth, lovely tasting Calamaris with lemon which I gulped down a whole plate. Sea food Crocket, garlic prawns fantastic.

We ate in this restaurant twice during our recent visit to Barcelona. The first time we had tapas. Fresh seafood - try the squid in parsley and garlic. The second visit we had lobster paella which was amazing. The service couldn't be faulted either. The kids enjoyed eating here too - they enjoyed the fish and chips. It cost around... More

We did hear good stories about El Tinglado and decided tot try ourselves on a sunny day. We did choose the daily menu for 10€. The starters were good, a mixed salade and a salade crudite. The desserts were good too, icecream and a delicious crėme Catalana. The main course were very disapponting, dry chicken and my escalope Milanese had... More

Having had a lovely walk by the beach we stumbled on this fantastic restaurant on Port Olympic. Full of local people lunching we decided to try and get a table. Although the menu is only in Spanish, (a great sign in my opinion), we had translation from the waiter. Tomato bread, fish balls, squid, gazpacho soup, salad, fish noodle dish... More

Neighborhood Profile
Ciutadella / Vila Olimpica
The sounds of Marina Olympica's rocking boats and clicking mastheads swaying to and fro set an impressive backdrop for Ciutadella and Villa Olimpica. Follow the aromas of garlic, wine, and fresh local fish to the various restaurants running along the marina. A grand bronze fish statue soaring high above serves as a beacon to those searching for the renowned Casino Barcelona or the extremely popular nightclubs which practically lie on the beach itself.
