We ate breakfast(excellent) and 2 dinners in the Wave restaurant and were very pleased with the service and quality of the food. It is always nice to have a good restaurant in the hotel that you are staying in and after long days of touring or in the morning before heading off for a day of... read more

We were sorely tempted to spend our whole week in Barcelona here. A chair by the pool overlooking the beach, Barcelona sunshine, and cocktail service - what else do you need?

All food is fresh, nicely served and delicious. I especially recommend mussels, lamb and a chocolate cake!

Wave Restaurant is located in the main floor of W Hotel. We had a table near the window and we could enjoy pool and beach views. I'm not the kind of people who thinks you can't get nice food from a Hotel's restaurant. And we really enjoyed dinner at Wave. Obviously you pay more than another restaurant just because you... Had dinner at Wave and we were all happy with the food selections and drinks. Scallop was especially delicious as were other seafood dishes. Great service as well.

Our honeymoon improved after visiting this restaurant. Amazing good and better service. You don't have to miss this atmosphere if you are in Barcelona. Alex, the head of chambers, is kind, fun and very generous!

Friendly staff - helpful and chatty. Food tasted good and was very well presented. Disliked A little pricey when there is no other choice on a cold afternoon but standard price fr an evening meal in Spain.

Staying in Barceloneta

Neighborhood Profile
Barceloneta
Originally a fisherman’s quarter, this quaint area can’t escape its small village feel: laundry hanging over the narrow streets, old ladies clamoring at each other from their balconies and elder gentlemen playing games on short wooden benches gossiping the day away, Barceloneta could double as a film set. Artists line the boardwalk displaying their magnificently detailed sand structures making this the most visited beach in the city (the shirtless men working out might help too). You’ll know by the delicious aroma that you're in the right place to try some of the best and most authentic seafood including paella, Spain’s national dish.
