Don't go there!

We've made the mistake to go in there for dinner. What a terrible restaurant. The waiter was strange, rude and unfriendly. That should have been a warning but we ordered food anyway. Service good, meals terrible! I went there cause I saw ad on a map of Barcelona which I was given in the Hotel. I went there to try paella for the first time...I will never eat paella again. I ate paella with chicken and sausage. Every piece of chicken was full of small crushed bones. My friends ate BBQ and... More

Overpriced ready-made food. Tomatoes were miles from ripe and the chips were definitely reheated. Beer was triple the usual cost and had 50% water. Service want particularly friendly either. Avoid at all costs!

We had some of the most expensive and tasteless cheese fondu here. I think they just heated up some milk it was so bad. There are several other good restaurants on Rambla del Poblenou and unfortunately this isn't one of them.

Decided to visit this place which was one of many on La Rambla in Poblenou. Food was basic at best and not value for money. My wife's cannelloni arrived 20 mins after the rest of the family's meals and if was disgusting. I am still not sure what meat was used in the filling ! I refused to pay for... More

Had a few beers and a bite to eat with friends. Beers were good but I felt the food was really basic. Order the shoulder of lamb and the only thing it came with was chips....a bit disappointing.

My girlfriend and I went there because we were on a budget and the place looked reasonably priced. Little did we know that we would be charged AN ADDITIONAL 1 Euro per person for sitting outside (decision NOT up to the client) which was NOT pointed to us by the unfriendly waiter. Food was factory made and just preheated in... More

We walked past this restaurant and decided to have dinner here. There was not much on offer for tapas, so we decided to order a lasagne and pizza. I couldn't help notice that the couple at the table next to us were not very pleased with the food and service but I tried not to let that spoil our experience.... More

The food was terrible and the bill was very expensive for what we got. The staff were polite but lacked that friendliness that makes you feel comfortable.

Neighborhood Profile
Poblenou
The futuristic Agbar Tower stands out from Barcelona's skyline in Poblenou. It is no coincidence then that this area of town is the newly crowned technological park of the city, its own mini Silicon Valley containing a tech incubator (Barcelona Activa) as well as a host of local and international high tech companies. To accommodate the onrush of new residents and workers, the area of Poblenou has seen a surge of activity in new high-rise residential buildings and two top-notch shopping centers catering to everyone's need. The ambiance of this area is calmer than the city center and the beautifully relaxing Bogatell Beach, popular with locals, is just a handful of blocks away.
