My girlfriend and I went there because we were on a budget and the place looked reasonably priced. Little did we know that we would be charged AN ADDITIONAL 1 Euro per person for sitting outside (decision NOT up to the client) which was NOT pointed to us by the unfriendly waiter. Food was factory made and just preheated in... More

We walked past this restaurant and decided to have dinner here. There was not much on offer for tapas, so we decided to order a lasagne and pizza. I couldn't help notice that the couple at the table next to us were not very pleased with the food and service but I tried not to let that spoil our experience.... More

The food was terrible and the bill was very expensive for what we got. The staff were polite but lacked that friendliness that makes you feel comfortable.

Prices higher than at the neighbours. Incomplete printed menu, poor information regarding dishes from the waiter so that we received something different than we expected. Big waiting time even if it was not full. Nothing memorable, nothing bad. Good Sangria.

Ate here with my sons who both wanted a pizza and this was near our hotel. Pizzas were okay, but nothing special, I had cannelloni again okay but nothing special. I did have a sangria, which was really good. Service was good, and overall experience was perfectly acceptable, but nothing outstanding.

Nothing specially bad, but nothing good either. The place is VERY touristy, no locals, and that's for a reason. We did not felt comfortable, but we wanted to eat something, were tired and hungry, so we sat down. After the mixed tapas plate, and the drinks we could not understand half of the bill, and I am sure there were... More

Living in Poblenou I know most of the restaurants of the area and as a meat lover the best place for me is La Roda. The 'solomillo' (sirloin steak) is excellent: well seasoned, crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside. The decoration inside of the restaurant is very nice and they have a big terrace outside also. The... More

It was our first day in the city and we had arrived in very early before our hotel was ready. As we strolled down from the hotel towards the sea we saw a lot of tapas bars but wanted something a bit more substantial. They offered a cheap Menu del Dia with a glass of wine and Paella for two... More

Family of four with two young teenagers... the food was prompt and good quality. Steak cooked properly as asked for ( rare ) and chicken and lasagne meals of good quality. Lamb cutlets very good and the house red wine was not expensive and really top quality for the price. Espresso coffee perfect and only the side salad for the... More

We arrived in Barcelona on a Sunday when many places were closed. All we wanted in our jet-lagged state was an early light supper before turning in. The pizzas we ordered fit the bill and the half litre of cold beer was the perfect accompaniment. Our Syrian waiter spoke English and he gave us some background on the very interesting... More
