Description: Monvinic has been founded with the aim of being an international benchmark...
Monvinic has been founded with the aim of being an international benchmark for the dissemination of wine culture. A pioneering space, created by Sergi Ferrer-Salat, which has opened wide its doors to present an unrivalled selection of wines from all over the world. And, what's more, to explore the how and the why of each bottle. At a time when the number of wine enthusiasts, all keen to appreciate and to learn, is growing apace, Monvinic opens in the city of Barcelona to promote and to encourage this passion. And to do so in a way that is rigorous and respectful, yet at the same time providing an atmosphere that is natural, uninhibited, joyous and outgoing.

I have only been here once, and I will never go again. So please take this review in that light. I walked out after not even three glasses of wine. I love great wines. I travel to seek them out. Mostly I avoid wine bars, as the pretension level can get high as part of the sales pitch, and the... More

Best thing is wine and cutlery... For 100 euros/person there are lot of better places. Food is not outstanding, not even really good, just ok. All in all disappointing.

We stopped here due to old location ads on street. Strange opening. Looks like an office. But so glad we went on in. Hostess very friendly. Bartender sommelier was very friendly and good suggestions. Food delivery persons very friendly. Food Fab and wine choices extensive. All very very good. Very quiet elegant interior. The restaurant looks gorgeous but we sat... More

We went to this place for my 40th birthday because it is supposed to be the best wine bar in the world. It turns out that it is simply one of the best experiences in the world. The wine is amazing but the food is equally as amazing. If you are traveling to Barcelona and you want a place that... More

This place is simply one of a kind. They offered us the Chef´s table. Right in the kitchen watching all the Chefs in action while dining. That day we were lucky to try the newly introduced menu. The food was top quality and all we have sampled was something to repeat. WINE... This is something to write back home about.... More

Wine was perfect but food was disappointing. Staff tried to compensate though.... The duck was difficult to chew.

Was looking for somewhere special in Barcelona for dinner. Place is very nice and the service good especially from the wine waiter. The food however is very poor and not good value for money. The vegetarian dish was tasteless. There are many great places to eat in Barcelona. This is not one of them.

We were with a small group and had a private tasting menu, paired with Spanish wines, hosted by the Sommelier. This was a world class experience. The restaurant is very chic with a great atmosphere. One of the full glass walls is the wine cellar. Amazing selections. Amazing food. Amazing service.

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
