I just cannot describe the good quality of the food here... I eat here every time somebody comes from another country to eat seafood and it never dissapoints. You select your seafood by weight and you choose the way to prepare it, then just wait and then... Enjoy! The beer is extremely cold, sometimes frozen and the staff is extremely... More

Visited here with a recommendation by a friend who used to live in Barcelona. I went for a Wednesday lunch, which turned out to be THE BEST feast during my stay in Barcelona. We exclusively chose to go to the one in Santz, because it's not touristy and takes 2 min from the metro station. I got there before 2pm,... More

Inexpensive seafood worth a visit A very busy place. Worth a visit for the experience. If you have been to other seafood restaurant that keeps live seafood in tanks for you to pick, then this might be tame in comparison. Quality and Freshness: Overall , It is reasonable but definitely not as fresh as I like it to be. Keep... More

While there are several La Paradetas in the city, the one in Sants may be the most authentic. The place is pretty small and you often have to share a table. You wait in line, point to the freshest seafood available, take a number, and wait for it to be cooked for you and your number called. There are delicious... More

What a great experience! We went to the Sants location (around 8 PM, which is early for BCN), and really did not have to wait at all. The fresh fish and shellfish were displayed on a bed of ice on the front counter. We simply pointed to our choices, and the counter guy scooped them into paper cones, which were... More

La Paradeta has 6 restaurants around the city, and I guess "Sagrada Familia" is most crowded one, while "Sants" is most loved by locals. If you arrive 5 minutes after evening opening, prepare to wait; otherwise, you may get just to the beginning of the queue. We've tried absolutely everything from the market and everything turned out to be delicious... More

Yes, there is always a line at the door. There's a reason for that: The restaurant is great! We waited for about 45m/1hour but it was worth it. Beer is cheap, and the seafood is great. Well worth the trip!

We had to queue for around an hour but it was well worth it! Choosing your food is great fun, the staff managed to retain a sense of humour despite numerous tourists with no Spanish constantly changing their minds. You choose your food and it is then cooked in what seemed to be random order, but perfectly. The kitchen shouts... More
