Craving Thai food

We are Thai food lovers and wants to some thai food in Barcelona. We did a Google search and came up with this. The food was excellent and the portions were very reasonable, for European standards anyway! The cost was a bit on the high side, but we did enjoy it. Only issue was the service was... read more

Thai Thai is an excellent hole in the wall. Loved the Chicken Satee, pad thai was very good, fried rice was excellent, and red curry chicken was excellent. just wish the waitstaff was more attentive.

After living 3 years in Thailand i can say with certainty that this is not the real Thai food as you will experience it in Thailand. I understand that the food is always a little adjusted but this is so far from the real Thai food that it is a shame to call it Thai food. The food arrived a... More

We are thai food fans and eat it all over the world. This place is one of the best thai places we have ever been too. The day we went was awful though. They had power issues with All the lights and air conditioning going out. Could not see the food and was sweating as the kitchen is Inside. Had... More

Very authentic & excellent food. We were desperate for spicy food and finally found it in this restaurant. Ordered a Pad Thai, thai fried rice and a tom yum soup. Came up to 31 euros. Sufficient for 2 medium - eaters and the dishes can be shared. But food was very spicy and mind it - we have very high... More

This is a small simple restaurant that serves good food. a lot of choice, the service is surly and with non of the oriental charm and grace that one might expect from a Thai restaurant. The young waitress seems to really not want to be there! BUT if you can ignore that, the food is good. I have been several... More

Small portions, esp the Pad Thai which was overpriced. The chicken with ginger tasted more Chinese than Thai and to have to be charged extra for a small bowl of rice in a Thai restaurant is quite something !! Surly & charmless service and very average tasteless and overpriced food, not a great experience !!

Ordered take away from this place. It is not to be recommended. Nothing tasted bad, just hardly had any taste. The plastic containers were half empty. The spring rolls were less than half of normal size. For fifty euro we were expecting to not feel hungry since we were only two persons however we had to eat something else as... More

We had lunch here. A casual little hole-in-the-wall place. It seemed to us to be a family run business. Dad watching, daughter serves, mom cooks? Not sure. But anyway, the waitress we had, although ok, could have made the experience much better for everyone had she been a bit happy, enthusiastic or helpful. We ordered a curry dish and the... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
