Amazing service and ambient!

I went to work for a bit in Alsur Cafe because I really like the ambient and it is very well positioned and I met Carlota and Pablo and their super good and friendly service. It really made me feel like I am at home! 100% recommended!!!

Almost every day I go to Alsur Cafè enjoying lovely breakfast and the lounge atmosphere the place offers. Great team of waiters makes the combination perfect. 5 stars. Andrea

We enjoyed a break from exploring the city, by finding comfortable seats in this young trendy cafe. The coffee and cakes were excellent, the interior design beautiful and the service helpful.

Located in a nice square in Born's neighbourhood, there is a self service area where you can have a coffee and a peace of delicious cakes, it's a typical place for tourists where having a rest and check in your smartphone the next place to visit. Good atmosphere and service. There is also a good restaurant.

Only ever had breakfast here, and it was great. Smashed eggs are amazing, I had mine with mushrooms but they also come with Iberico ham. They have a fab selection of Teas and are open from 10am on weekends. Situated in a quiet square in El Born away from traffic noise, make sure you have the address as its not... More

I like that you can choose self service or full service. We choose the self service as we wanted to be left alone and get some work done. Logged into the wifi, went to the bar ordered sangria and a red wine and got some work in. Plain and simple.

Typical Cafe "estilo americano". Nothing to write home about. Seems to function more as a tourist magnet with mediocre food and a rude disorganized staff.

Alsur has been a lifesaver for me while in Barcelona. The wonderful coffee, free wi-fi, and delicious food have made it a mainstay for me over the past few months. Although I have made more use of the first two than than the last, I really enjoy the caprese empanadas and red velvet cake. The service, especially by Pablo and... More

This cafe is good for its drinks but the food is dire. I ordered a blue steak and then it came out medium. The staff then explained that this is as blue as it gets and if I wanted blue steak, I should go to a luxury place that specialises in meat. The jambon platter is tiny and costs around... More

Sat outside and had some drinks, the service was a bit slow but the drinks were good value and it has a good atmosphere. Would recommend for after dinner drinks.
