Great restaurant

The food is really good and the service is in top. Definitely a nice place to eat tapas!A little pricey though compared to the portion sizes but still good.

This cafe is in the El Born neighborhood, and the menu included tapas and a few entrees. Took a while to get served, and at 7PM they were already out of 3 favorites. Ordered calamari and a few other items - served barely warm, and the breading was soggy. Churizo were tough and over cooked. WAY too much salt in... More

Just had lunch at casa delfino, and whilst the food was OK, the staff were miserable to the point of rudeness. Strange place, if they cheered up a bit, I wouldn't have felt compelled to write this review.

A most enjoyable place to spend a quick or lazy meal. It has been our regular breakfast place whilst in Barcelona. Great food, a decent coffee and good service. It's. Especially nice sitting in the terrace enjoying the Barcelona sunshine.

Good location but that's about it. The food is over-priced and of very average quality. Certainly not up to the standard of other places we ate in Barcelona. The waiter was very pushy (teh place was quiet). He interrupted our conversation (spoke over us) by listing loudly all the dessert option. Thankfully we didn't encounter this level of rudeness elsewhere... More

We went there as a group of 10 persons. We tried a lot of tapas which were all delicious. I was a bit dissapointed with the paella maybe because my expectation got high after the tapas. The service was great, the staff speaks good English and they are very friendly. We paid around EUR25 for a lot of food, drinks... More

Nice located restaurant in Born district, near Barcelonetta. Friendly waiter and quite cheep breakfasts. For dinner you will need to pay much higher than worth - f.e. seefood paella for 2 persons about 35 Euro, which is a lot comparing even to Barcelonetta touristic areas. Take in acount also extra 15% for sitting outdoor. Step there fot morning coffee and... More

Great people and service. The problem is the cook. The majority of the food that we tried was tasteless and non memorable. Do not order the "Pork Iberico". In order to make this restaurant a favor one in the neighborhood, they need to improve their culinary skills and present items that are full of flavors and provide us with a... More

We visited Casa Delfin for lunch while on a trip to Barcelona. The restaurant serves tapas, as well as, other main full size dishes. We ordered Padron peppers which were great and very tasty, tomato bread - also nice, toasted and well seasoned. Other dishes were less successful. Octopus was very spicy, even though it did not specify this in... More

Cute restaurant and location, but the food looked better than it tasted. Our table had different paella - one pretty salty and one in a broth (with no spoon, and no lobster fork for the pieces of random chunks of lobster with very little meat inside, and no finger wipes which was strange, and very much needed). Check your bill... More

Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighborhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighborhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
