My girlfriend and I called here two nights in a row while here for short city break in Barcelona. The seafood paella and seafood specials were really fresh and particularly good. Great location and friendly staff.

My husband and I were in Barcelona for our 10-year wedding anniversary. In February temperatures in Barcelona do plunge to about 5'C in the evening, but we were determined to go to a restaurant that had a patio, dressed in layers to keep war,. As my husband prefers hot food, and the weather was a bit chilly, we also wanted... More

A quaint restaurant which serves Catalan style but will serve chips or potatoes if you ask. Be careful as chips are potato crisps in Spain. I am not sure what chips are in Catalan but if you ask for Frites they will understand that. The surroundings are quaint and cosy with outside seating if want. The food is fantastic and... More

This is a nice place, with a good atmosphere and attractive decor. It gets pretty busy, mainly with tourists (and the staff speak good English). The seafood dishes are the most impressive. Prices are pretty fair. It's a nice place, and an easy option for tourists, but there are better places in the area.

We were struggling to find a restaurant which appealed on a Monday evening and settled for Casa Delfin after walking from our hotel (around the corner from Casa Delfin) to La Rambla and back. We were pleased with our choice; the food was very good and the wine I picked was exceptional (so much so that we returned on the... More

This was our third restaurant in the City and we had expected more from the description in the guide book. Overall it was ok, some things were good - razor clams. And some things were poor- 18€ for 9 prawns !!!There is better value and quality elsewhere.

If you are looking for a small, cosy restaurant away from the crowded Ramblas, Casa Delfin is a perfect choice. We've found it by accident while wandering about El Barri Gotic and just poped in. A nice, bubbly waiter greeted us at the entrance and offered a table (there were 2 of us) at the ground floor. We asked for... More

Just popped in to share some tapas. Beautiful and stylish design and very friendly service. Pulpo was as good as I 'very had anywhere and calamares excellent too. Relaxed place, one of many good options in this thriving part of Barcelona.

Neighborhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighborhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
