The service is excellent!

At first we wanted to go to Irati (another restaurant close to Orio, same owner). They didn't disappoint us, although we prefer to go to Irati (even if you have nowhere to sit). The service was very nice, specially Patxi, a Menorcan guy. Desserts could be better because they cost 5€, but in general... read more

We spent an evening at ORIO although we just wanted to eat some pintxos and then go to the next bar. But as the pintxos were really good and so was the service, we stayed the whole evening. Also try the oysters, they're the best we had in Barcelona.

Special tapas. A place that every visitor in Barcelona should go and eat tapas or other dishes. Also fast service and a new type of paying .... (counting tapa's tooth sticks ) .

It may have been a bit miscommunication but the waiter told us the pintxo were "95 cents" each when in reality they were about "1.95" each ( uh, we are actually from the UK but I have a USA accent). Any who, it doesn't matter since each tapa was worth the 2 euro each. You select what you want and... More

we really enjoyed the traditional tapas in an excellent location. It was rather expensive though. you get an empty plate and you can put as many tapas as you want. before you leave the waitress came and counted toothpicks and then she gave us the bill. about 2e each tapas. the wine was great , too.

Passed by and thought this place looked interesting - lots of tapas to choose from (you pay per piece). Staff bring round hot tapas on trays to choose from. Lively atmosphere and friendly staff.

If your appetite is seafood then you must try....the restaurant has very helpful staff speaking English...also a great variety of buffet!!!I wasn't used to eating seafood that's why I didn't enjoy myself there..but I liked the environment, the street view, wines and finally the fact that we were offered some tapas to taste for free....thanx Orio

Travel down Las Ramblas and head toward the gothic quarter between KFC and McDonald's, this restaurant is about 400m up on the right. The Tapas are Pincho's - pieces of bread topped with meat or fish or vegetarian toppings. The choice is varied and they cost about €2 each, I recommend a glass of the house Vino Tinto. We love... A slightly more upmarket tapas place - all very modern, excellent service and fantastic wine. It's more pricey than other local tapas places but the quality shines through. Elegantly presented bites, displayed along the counter top that you help yourself to and then they count up your sticks at the end to work out your bill. If you're not in... More

Great tapas. Really fresh ingredients and lots of choices. The only draw back is that there is only one washroom for ladies downstairs. But the environment is clean and inviting. About ten euros each person for lunch and you've be pretty full.
