Good concept

You pay pr tapa. And the tapas are delicious. Good selection of tapas and wine. This place can be recommended. You will probably need 10 tapas = 20 euro.

We went looking for a recommended restaurant in the quarter , but never did find it. Instead we came here because we were hungry. We were not disappointed! We had 6 different tapas that we shared and some nice Spanish red wine. We were so full we didn't even have anything else. Would got back in a heartbeat!

A good variety of tapas. We chose the tapas on a plate and had them as takeaway to eat up at our rental apartment. The waitresses could have smiled as they served but they were helpful. The crab salad tapas with mozarella was the best!

We visited whilst passing by on a quiet Monday evening. Being tourists we didn't know what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised by the pintxos and wine on offer. Beautifully presented and delicious combinations of flavours. Friendly service and a lively atmosphere. I would highly recommend this place if you are in need of a quick sit down and... More

What catches your attention first, when walking on the street, are the berets that are worn by the waiters. "Wait a minute, waiters don't wear berets, other people wear berets...." Then you try to sneak in to check out the place .. and you try not to stand exactly below the row boat that hangs from the ceiling. Next thing... More

This place was a find. Our waiter, Aritz, was especially helpful with our menu and wine selections. Everything we ordered was delicious (we ordered from both the cold and hot tapas menu). While the cold tapas were on display, the hot ones could be ordered specially and were then passed around the restaurant (similar to a dim sum palace). We... More

Went with 4 friends as part of a manchester city football trip. Had a fantastic bottle of tempranillo at 14 euros and lovely pintos at 2 Euros each, really enjoyed it. Having been to barcelona 6 times in the last 5 years this is definitely the nicest food you will find close to las ramblas

We came to Orio Gotic as part of the Pintxo tour which gives you food and drinks vouchers to use in various Sagardi restaurants around the city. Orio Gotic is very well located just off the Rambla and Placa de Sant Jaume so it's perfect for grabbing a quick lunch between seeing the sights. As soon as we walked in... More

Having never tried pinchos before this was a New experience for me - I love tapas but am a bit of a coward when it comes to eating blind - the dishes are not labelled however the staff are happy to tell you what each pinchos is. I was with 6 friends and we all enjoyed trying the dishes -... More

We were there for dinner with 11 people. Had a table downstairs in a very nice quiet corner. The tapas and drinks were extremely good. The steaks however, ordered medium, were nearly raw and the meat was no good quality. Would definitely return for tapas and drinks. Small problem with the reservation: booked by phone, when we arrived nobody knew... More
