Nice atmosphere

Came here for lunch after spending the morning exploring the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona. The place is just off Las Ramblas and is conveniently located in a central spot. I ordered the Orio salad which was tasty, I didn't try the tapas but they look good, maybe next time when I am there. Decor is... read more

This may have been our favorite meal in Barcelona. Casual, lively, friendly, and very reasonably priced, especially considering the Bari Gotic location just a couple of blocks of Las Ramblas and right around the corner from Placa Reial. We ate more pintxos than we needed, but the price was right, and they were plenty tasty, washed down with sangria and... More

This is a really nice place to go off of La Rambla. The atmosphere is great, calm and relaxing. We enjoyed a nice bottle of Cava. My husband had the chorizo appetizer which was quite good. The tapas were not really that great or even good. Several people were having oysters which looked delicious. I think that maybe you should... More

Really enjoyed this bright cool atmosphere with lots of energy but not loud. The food was really good and the wine list is just as good.We ate here twice while in Barcelona and after visiting some other places this was still one of my favorites!

It's a nice place, but it lacks finesse. I found it hard to find places with some sort of dignity close to Ramblas, but this was one of them. Dont expect excellent food though.

We dropped in for a few pintxo's and a glass or two of wine and ended up staying for the evening....the oyster's were very good as was the fish of the day which was bream - perfectly cooked. Orio seems to be mostly aimed at tourists but it doesn't matter really as the vibe is fun and service much better... More

Tapas were decent so good but not great Don't get the tuna as it tasted like cat food but others were delicious lol. Good fresh oysters but bottom line is its expensive and they keep pushing their food so I don't like that. waiters brought food over for us to try and thinking it was complimentary. It's not. Kept asking... More

I was advised by a colleague who is from Barcelona to come to this place for tapas and montaditos and we were not disappointed: very friendly service, wide variety of very tasty tapas and montaditos (even past 10 PM).

This was a great place to drop into for a few pinxtos and chilled cava.after walking around the area on a very hot afternoon. It wasn't busy at the time so an oasis of calm. It has to be done.
