delicious tapas in a fancy restaurant

In this restaurant you can have delicious and really different tapas and you can choose the ones you prefer directly from the bar (sort of self service, the waiters bring you the drinks and some tapas, but you can serve by your self at the great bar full of a huge variety of very good tapas). it is... read more

We ate an earlier dinner at Orio before going to a football match. The tapas here are displayed on a counter and you get to pick and choose. It's self-serve. They take your drink order, and you get your tapas. You pay by the toothpick. It's 1.95 euro per toothpick. The cheese with honey was very good! So was the... More

When it comes to traditional tapas finding something "traditional," or authentic in Gothic Quarter can be a challenge. But Orio offers tapas that have that traditional feel with a modern twist. The food and service was really good. The place is worth the visit and I'll definitely eat there again.

Excellent tapas restaurant in the middle of the gothic neighborhood. Very authentic and to my opion also economic with tapas price €1.95 per dish. Would totally recommend and will be one of my must-visits in Barcelona.

The tapas are OK, but that's it - OK, not good, not great, and not as varied as other places. Should have known that proximity to tourist areas would mean getting ripped off, but went for it anyway. Asked for a Coke in a can, and they brought a tiny, 237ml glass bottle which you down in two sips, and... More

Had a very nice lunch at this friendly relaxed restaurant. Staff where very friendly and wanted to make the most of your visit. Free samples of tapas offered to diners and great service. Wish we had found it earlier in the holiday

This restaurant specialises in pintxos, the Basque version of tapas, which are skewered on a cocktail stick. It is self service, and your bill is based on how many sticks are left at the end of your meal. The restaurant is on a main street near the Ramblas and Plaça Reial. You can sit at tables in the little alley... More

The service was not great, and the Tapas was poor, bread tasted stale and just not very nice. We stopped after 2 each, drunk our drink and left to eat else where. Much better to be had in whatever direction you go. Would not return.

Enjoyed the Tapas they were had a modern twist and enjoyable. We also had the baby squid which was stuffed in squid in ink, our 7 year old enjoyed this dish very much. Another nice dish was the Tripe with chickpea. Service was good and efficient.
