Passed by and thought this place looked interesting - lots of tapas to choose from (you pay per piece). Staff bring round hot tapas on trays to choose from. Lively atmosphere and friendly staff.

If your appetite is seafood then you must try....the restaurant has very helpful staff speaking English...also a great variety of buffet!!!I wasn't used to eating seafood that's why I didn't enjoy myself there..but I liked the environment, the street view, wines and finally the fact that we were offered some tapas to taste for free....thanx Orio

Travel down Las Ramblas and head toward the gothic quarter between KFC and McDonald's, this restaurant is about 400m up on the right. The Tapas are Pincho's - pieces of bread topped with meat or fish or vegetarian toppings. The choice is varied and they cost about €2 each, I recommend a glass of the house Vino Tinto. We love... Great tapas. Really fresh ingredients and lots of choices. The only draw back is that there is only one washroom for ladies downstairs. But the environment is clean and inviting. About ten euros each person for lunch and you've be pretty full.

Go to Orio restaurant in the Gothic area of Barcelona. Fantastic fresh Tapas, very reasonably priced, great staff. You pay for each tapas item you have, as they simply count the toothpicks left on your plate. Skip, the tapas tours. Just go straight to Orio

Great quality food reasonably priced and opposite the less famous Mercat food market and down the road from the cathedral. Free wifi also a great help. Try black pudding and pepper. Yum

We looked for a place to have dinner, walked just five minutes from La Rambla and walked into this amazing place following the sound and atmosphere. Beautifully decorated, people eating and laughing and a nice buzz in the air. Ordered pintxos ( tapas) of all kinds, a big salad of sardines and vegetables ( to die for- must order) and... More

We went looking for a recommended restaurant in the quarter , but never did find it. Instead we came here because we were hungry. We were not disappointed! We had 6 different tapas that we shared and some nice Spanish red wine. We were so full we didn't even have anything else. Would got back in a heartbeat!
