This is an obvious tourist trap. The Pintxos are good to fare but the service was horrible; i am talking 20 minutes just to get drinks ordered. Our waiter for some reason worked the inside an outside but he didn't even make an effort to provide service. It however was not just him i watch at least 3 other parties... More

Loved this place. Great selection of cold tapas and oysters. You're charged per toothpick (in each tapa). I also had the best gin & tonic I've ever had at this place. Highly recommend!

The waiter in a bar around the corner recommended this restaurant and we were not disappointed. There are two different areas: one for basque style tapas and the menu section. After a few days of Tapas we decided to go for a proper meal and were not disappointed. Two of us shared a menu that came at 32 Euros a... More

We were in Placa Reial and went through a side street for a walk, came across Orio which looked modern, clean and very busy. On entering the staff were helpful explaining how it worked, grab a plate and just chose food buffet style. We sat at a long table, ordered drinks then went to try what they had on offer,... More

Orio is mixed in with all of the touristy restaurants around the area but was recommended to us by a friend who lives in the area. Tapas were mostly excellent and tasty (some misses, but it's a tapas place, what do you expect?), and typically good beer and wine choices. Prices were slightly higher end for tapas, but still reasonable.... More

It is for the tourists and it does a good job at that because you go to the Old town anyway and need to have a snack. The pintxos here are just as expensive as at their neighbor, so just go in. Had some oysters, pintxos and Cava... Service was ok.

A nice, but rather expensive tapas restaurant. The food has good quality, but be aware of the prices! Very nice atmosphere - a good place to start your evening out.

Nice mini sandwiches and fresh oysters, But you can easily eat and spend more than expected due to the self service.

The food is not nice here. Even at €1.99 per pinxto, it was overpriced. one of only 2 bad food experiences we had in Barcelona.
