Nice restaurant but beware!

We found this restaurant by chance while walking around looking for a beer, then went back a day or two later for lunch, which was very acceptable, and like a lot in Barcelona does not break the bank. The problem was the *********** who tried to steal Jills phone by putting a folded up map on it... read more

Quality ingredients used at a very reasonable price. We originally had stopped at this place for a cocktail and decided to stay for dinner an excellent spot to sit on the patio and watch the world move by. We ate the the Barcelona mac and cheese and also Patatas Bravas both were excellent and finished the meal with the Seafood... More

Clean and well maintained place, friendly waiters and food like any other place. Good, but nothing fancy. Good ibericoham, but their "patatas special" was nothing to brag about. Have just tried the tapas, and simple breakfast though, so they might surprice me. Stayed in the apartments above for some nights, so it was very conveniant to visit. Not gonna go... More

We stayed in the apartments of this hotel/cafe and they were really poor for the very high price paid €€267 per night!! Unclean, poor security (on windows & doors), plumbing & electronics didn't work, unhelpful staff and the final straw was the non-stop construction noise from the adjoining building. We travelled with 2 young children and it was impossible to... More

I went to have early dinner with my wife. I ate seabass with vegetables and bread. It was very delicious, but it was really small. My wife ate bread also and pork ribs with banana chips. It was delicious also. The size of the meal was a little bigger. If the meals were bigger, I would give 4 or 5... More

I've had tapas at several cafes and restaurants to date but these were the biggest portions by far. Plenty of choice and value for money too. At the time of writing they were also giving 30% discount on main meals if you booked a table on line. An enjoyable experience all in all.

I don't give 5 stars readily, but today they' re not enough! In this modest cafe we had a seafood casserole the equal of the best bouillabaisse of Marseilles or Paris, followed by wild turbot on a mushroom risotto to die for. Literally. Never mind Gaudi; this restauant is the reason to visit Barcelona!
