Excellent Service / Good food, avoid meat.

I'm a red meat lover, unfortunately the meat was not good, it was under-cooked to my requested term, but it was not tender. I also tasted the chicken and the classic paella, this to dishes were very good and this is why I'm giving an Average rating.

Came as part of an organised tour for lunch. Good choice off set menu, good food at a very reasonable price for Barcelona. Two adults and two children.

You couldn't ask for a better location or a nicer first-impression as you walk past Restaurante Navarra on Passeig de Gracia. However, just keep walking. We stopped for a light meal to wrap up a great week in Madrid and Barcelona. This was by far the biggest disappointment of the week. The food was average; the service was indifferent. A... More

We visited today (on the recommendation of our tour guide) with most of our coach party. My husband and I both had the menu of the day (3 courses plus drink for 14 euros) and were surprised by the quality and portion size for such a low price. Lasagne and salad to start were both tasty then burger and roast... More

We stopped here on our way back to the hotel from the Sagrada Familia. We were just strolling around the shopping area and this looked like a good place to stop. They had outdoor seating. Good for people watching. We ordered gambas, padron peppers and tomato bread. Everything was pretty good. I'm not sure the peppers were padrons but they... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
