Good food in somewhat expensive place close to Catalonia square

Good food and good services. Prices above average. Be aware that the prices in the menu does not include the VAT which will add 10% to the bill.

Chose this place as it was close by the hotel after a long day doing touristy things. It looked nice from the outside too. One of our party went for pasta the rest of us, all 3, went for tenderloin steak. Unfortunately, we let the friendly waiter change our minds after he recommended t bones. The steaks were enormous but... More

We, catalans, are happy to show our many visitors that we have not only a friendly city but also that we eat extraordinarily well. I entered this restaurant in-between two business appointments, and ordered two of our tasty "capricis": artichoke chips, and grilled squid. When I told the waitress that that was not what I ordered, that what I had... More

On my first visit to this beautiful city I wanted to enjoy some tapes and mediterranean food, Im glad I stopped here. First, the restaurant is located in a beautiful building and in a perfect location close to everything. Our servers were friendly and quick. Friendly staff, busy so the waiter was all about looking after people. Understandable as he had 11 full tables outside. We liked it so... More

Meal: terrible and expensive. Service: poor. I've visited many restaurants for tourists in Barcelona, and this is the worst ever. 100% deceived.

My wife and her sister went there for a late lunch. After the meal, the waiter came by to tell them that the menu prices did not include any tips, and asked them to leave a tip. My wife told him that she didn't think so, because the tips were already included in the prices, just like almost everywhere else... More

I was concerned by the mixed reviews for this restaurant on Trip Advisor but we found this place to be a well managed bar and restaurant. Tomato and mozzarella salad was exquisite including a pesto with a hard to identify "kick" over very fresh buffalo mozzarella. The parkas... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
