Good service, low average food

Restaurant looks nice, waiters are nice. Food is low average, reheated and even served just warm. Taste is ok. Looks like a office canteen food but price does not really match the offer.

Here with my dad in Barcelona after a long flight. I had the French omelet which made me want to eat eggs more often if they always tasted that good! My dad loved the coffee and overall a great meal. Decor is lovely and service was friendly. A great place!

Do never visit this restaurant. We received cheese plate with hair in it. Another dish was not we've ordered. The final moment of the evening was appearing of cockroach right on our table. Disaster!

I live in Barcelona and this in one of the worst places I have been to: food quality is poor and prices above average for the amount served. We had some tapas that were at best cooked the day before. The squid was too greasy and the portion not even half of what was on the menu picture. I will... More

After a walk in Paseo de Gracia we decided to taste some of the local Tapas and chose this restaurant because of it traditional look. The service was very friendly and we had a nice mix o tapas with the house wine that was good for the price.

This seems like another typical tourist restaurant serving pretty average food. The paella was pretty average with little seafood and meat, and the steak was overdone, tough and lacked good beefy taste. The waiter was pleasant and worked very hard to keep up with business. But the kitchen isn't doing its job to deliver a good product. Don't know if... More

We were 3 couples, decided to try this restaurant for dinner just before 8pm, as it had a TripAdvisor sticker and it was nearly full. Service was very good, we ordered several tapas with the jamon platter and the fried croquettes being the best. The main courses: -Seafood Paella- average, actally found some sand in the clams - Chicken Paella-... More

Slow service and incompetent waiters. Too many errors in one very simple order. I feel personally offended by the ignorance shown in an order as simple as a DECAF coffee. I've got heart problems, so as you can understand these kinds of mistakes affect my health very seriously. Servicio lento y camareros incompetentes. Demasiados errores en un solo pedido sin... More

We ate here to cap off a four night visit to Barcelona, and although there is so much choice in Barcelona, we were not disappointed. We dropped in for a three course meal with wine and had two friends with us too. A large glass of beer cost €5.50, a bit on the expensive side. Between us we had Steak,... More

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
