An memorable experience

My partner and I went to the Tablao Cordobes for Valentine's. The food buffet offered had a fantastic range of well-made and prepared food. Unlimited drinks(also alcohol) were also included. My only negative was the food could have been hotter, but it was still fine. The flamenco show was... read more

Bit sceptically before hand being a bloke- still booked online at around €78.50 pp for dinner and show. Thought it would be a cheesy show for tourists alike. Its definitely not for tourists as the show was amazing, thoroughly enjoyable. To start we had the buffet which is an hour before the show. The buffet was very nice with a... More

Although we haven't been to any other flamenco shows, it this was authentic, raw, engaging and full of life. Sensational guitarists and dancers. The accompanying singers sang from their hearts. We didn't opt for the inclusive dinner, just the dance (10pm show) and drink and it was brilliant. Completely and unreservedly recommend.

The food was buffet style and beautifully fresh. We also received little tasters throughout the meal. After the meal, we went into a small room with small stage where we witnessed traditional flamenco dancing and guitar playing, both of which were terrific! I booked beforehand and there are some evenings where the price is discounted. You can also see the... More

Walking up the narrow staircase off the Rambla you wouldn't think you were heading into an entertainment venue but you are. Divided into two rooms - one for the scrumptious buffet and the other for the flamenco performance, the nearly 3 hour evening is full of good food and even better flamenco dancing as these passionate performers dance their hearts... The restaurant itself had limited space so it felt "crowded" even though it wasn't full. Even the buffet area appeared cramped. However, the place was nicely decorated and clean. The service was attentive and courteous; empty buffet dishes were quickly replaced and your glass is never empty for long. The food was well presented but nothing to write home about.... More

Such a beautiful and traditional place. Although small, the place had a lot of room for the dinner buffet. Food was excellent ranging from different kind of tapas to authentic spanish dishes and desserts. Probably the best paella I've ever tasted. With free flowing wine and sangria, it's trully a gastronomic experience. And that's not all, when it's time for... More

Neighborhood Profile
La Rambla
Barcelona's most famous street was once a dry riverbed. Now, La Rambla is a 1200-meter boulevard, and a major draw for visitors. During the day, La Rambla fills with pedestrians, some of which stroll past impressive human statues and artists while others take a break to people-watch while enjoying a drink at one of the many terraces. Housed here is the iconic Boqueria Market that offers one of the most varied and appetizing selections of local produce and specialty meats and treats. While it’s important for tourists to keep an eye on their belongings at all times, this area is most safely explored in the daytime and is a must see for everyone who visits.
