Disappointing

This is a nice restaurant to look at. I only have 2 problems with it. Namely, the amount charged for a minuscule amount of wine by the glass, and undercooked food! My advice is buy a bottle of wine as you get much more for your money. If they are charging € 3.30 for a glass of wine, I figure... read more

I usually go for lunch to Dolso every two weeks. They have a fair menu with really well done quality food. that is out of the question. Their desserts are something to enjoy aside as it is one of their specialities. Only thing I noted in my visits is that service is really slow, and when I saw slow means... More

Good food, good price in city center, close to "paseo de Gracia", perfect for a break lunch or shopping!!

Barcelona's best kept secret. Price-quality exceptional. Here for a week and ate here three times. Really refined cooking. Just five minutes from La Perdera. Don't miss it.

I worked across the street from this restaurant, and went there regularly because I knew I would never be disappointed. Their menu del dia is always perfect, I was always happy to go back. Overall, great food, nice people, quaint restaurant, good price.

We were stating locally so stopped in for breakfast. Fresh juice, perfectly cooked eggs, nice coffee - just what was needed.

This is an alright restaurant which mainly focuses on deserts. The food is okay but we weren't overly impressed, as for the deserts the cupcakes are quite heavy especially the cream so personally we didn't like them too much. What is nice is that they are located very cclose to the central streets rambla de catalunya and paseo de gracia... More

Found this while looking for a place to have dinner near our hotel. The 13.5 euro 3 course menu de dia roped us in. Waiters spoke very little English so we got by with our rudimentary spanish. The food was excellent.

We were recommended this place because of its wonderful desserts so we went there to get a brownie and a cheesecake to take away. They were so bad we did not finish them. The brownie was cold (as in being kept on the fridge or even probably kept frozen). It did not taste good, very bad quality chocolate and the... More

First time in this restaurant, but it was very pleasant. At first on the nice, little terras, but a little bit noisy by the traffic on Carrer Valencia. Inside no noise at all and very cossy interior. Postres are their speciality, nice presentation and delicious! I GO BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
