We ate dinner at the Bracafe on Ronda Universitat, but the restaurant was nearly empty. We had fish with grilled vegetables (bony fish with thick eggplant and squash slices), and lobster and rice casserole (basically rice). We had a nice bottle of wine and bread with dinner. Basically, the bread and wine were the saving graces. 30.35€.

Had breakfast at the Bracafe in the Placa Tetuan. The food was good and the staff was lovely and extremely attentive.

Loved the tomato bread, tortilla and prawns - all good but we ordered far too much! The cava was also nice, always lovely to have to accompany tapas!

Been here three times service varies from lukewarm to excellent, depends on which waitress you get ! Food always plentiful and good quality. Decor lovely. Ambience good. Live music in downstairs bar. Overall will keep going back especially as prices are very reasonable for Central Barcelona.

Tapas were just ok--ordered garlic shrimp & 3 other items. Service weak, and they weren't busy. Place look tired.

Right in the centre of Barcelona, happy smiley staff, very reasonable prices, lovely snacks and pastries. Very clean facilities. And oh boy! the burgers were fantastic. We also stopped here for coffee on our two subsequent visits to the city.

Being near our hotel, we decided to try this place one evening - should have known better, girl outside dragging people in and hardly anyone in the place! Menu on offer inside varied from the one shown outside. My croquettes were awful. Himself had ghastly onion soup - complete with raw onions - and white fish and grilled vegetables (which... More

What a wonderful place! Staff are wonderful, provided lots of suggestions including the best vegetarian options without being pushy. Drinks came super fast, and we order tapas which arrived quickly plate by plate so we never felt overwhelmed. Massive portions and fantastic value for money! Cocktails were lovely and alcoholic and reasonably priced. Fabulous evening

We ate here every day for breakfast. The service is fastest at the counter. Coffee is good and croissants with ham and cheese are terrific. After 2 days, the manager recognized us and brought croissants and coffee right away. Most of the patrons are locals. If you want to immerse yourself in local joints, don't miss this one.
