Excellent.

Definitely worth a visit. We had the six pinchos, stuffed artichokes and a salad. More than enough for two. A really excellent and tasty meal. Highly recommend this place.

Zarautz was was highly recommended by the concierge as an excellent choice for a quick dinner near our hotel on the first night of our trip. He didn't lie. On a side street with no other commercial places anywhere on the same block, it had the feel of a local neighborhood cafe. Tables & diners were all close to each... More

Solid rotating selection of pintxos y tapas at the bar. Very reasonable prices. Order the tinto de verano to drink, it's unique.

My review is colored, unfortunately, by my pleasure at my entree. Ever put s fork of a dish in your mouth, and think you'd been transported to the planet of perfection? - the breast of duck at Zarautz. I am sure my partner's dish was excellent - I remember her passing me a delightful fork of something - and the... More

We ate here as a group of 20 people before a conference at fira, we were served a brilliant selection of tapas, sorry but the foie was gorgeous, followed by some stunning chocolate desserts. Combined with a price of €1.65 a plate for tapas and €2 for a glass of wine you cannot beat it. Came back the next night... More

Having previously praised Zarautz and remembered it fondly, we were disappointed (to say the least) with our recent return visits in April this year. While enjoying the excellent lunchtime pintxos at the bar, we booked a table for that evening. We were greeted on arrival by a very friendly waiter (new to us) who made us very welcome, showed us... We went here for dinner on the recommend of our hotel staff. It was our first meal in Barcelona and it was exactly what we were looking for. Great food and such a good bottle of red wine. The bartender didn't speak much English but he tried and did much better than my Spanish! We are stopping in tomorrow for... More

Stumbled across this excellent tapas bar on our arrival just a few blocks away from our hotel. Lots of locals suggested it was a good find. Great staff with Gerard Pique look-a-like who where only too happy to help with the menu. Very interesting mix of traditional and modern tapas with a hint of Japanese sushi. I had the most... More
