Good food and excellent service

Tapas were delicious, the duck slices were beautifully presented but not tender at all, too bad. My husband opted for slices of tuna, delicious. The service was impeccable, very professional, the waitress who attended to us, was very courteous. The chef came out to ask if all is ok, that's a nice... read more

...and upped their service, or the previous reviewers caught them on a bad day, because our service was wonderful. The food was great and our server cracked jokes and checked in us continuously. We even heard from one of the servers about her Basque roots. Very warm and gracious atmosphere. Very good food. Try the baby squid and shrimp for... More

We enjoyed a great lunch here, fresh and delicious ingredients used. Our faves were the octopus starter and mango salad starter. Mains worth a mention were the monkfish and tuna tartare. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff, will be back on our next trip and would definitely recommend.

There were no tables available when we arrived and were asked to wait. The staff (only two) were too busy to offer us a drink while we did so. A table was cleared eventually, and although we were not told this was ours, as we tentatively sat down we were given some kind of nod to confirm. We had a... More

Not a bad looking bar and the concept of having the tapas out (self serve) was interesting... The problem was that the service absolutely stunk. The wait staff only helped their friends and could careless about anyone else.

A hidden gem! I would highly recommend this place. The staff are really friendly and smile a lot. The food is amazing, you must try the table sharers! The desserts are fantastic too! The food is not cheap, but it certainly does not beak the bank. If my bill was 20 per cent more i wouldn't of complained. Its fantastic... More

The food was very good, well prepared and presented. The service was lovely. The menu isn't huge but what there was was very nice. Wasn't too keen on the tapas. Not what we expected as most of it was served on bread. Perhaps that is Catalan tapas.

It was not easy to find and we almost left it as it was full of people and we had no reservation so they could only propose not very convenient place on the tiny table on the corner. Still luckily a couple of guys left from the bar and we've got our chairs at the counter. The place introduces traditional... More

The restaurant at Zarautz was packed, so my daughter and I sat at the bar. This turned out to be a perfect tapas experience. We asked our server to order for us from the pincho menu. He brought us 6 of his favorites, our favorite which was the foie and apple on bread. We also enjoyed the sausage with brie... More
