I was originally going to give it 3 stars but with the rude waitress who bothered us time and time again, it lost a star. We came here because my husband's friend who lives in Barcelona, recommended this place. It's a chain so there's more than one, but this was the closest to our hotel. We got there around 9pm,... The tapas are delicious! Lots of variety and creativity. It's a bar style place where you interact with your neighbor which can be fun. You can also see the tapas being made in the somewhat open kitchen area behind the bar. The kitchen staff are passionate about food…just watch them and you will quickly realize this. Only advice is to... More

This is really the most delicious tapas place in Barcalona. We had a Bikini : little tosti from Belotta jamon, mozarella, and fresh Truffle. Mmmmm. A must are the boneless chicken wings and the little hamburgers. A place you always want to come back to

Excellent lunch here. Lots of very interesting tapas, well presented and very tasty. Very busy at lunch and I suspect also at dinner.

Unless you think you might enjoy waiting in a long dinner line only to get very inattentive service and mediocre, overpriced food, skip this place. Definitely the worst money I've spent in Spain. The food was not terrible, but it was not worth what I paid for it. And the service was bad. I sat at the bar and the... More

We tried CalPep (average) and loved Cervecaria Catalana (very good and great value) but this was a different level in terms of food. More modern and innovative - but not pretentious and really well executed. You could tell it was a offshoot of a very high end Chef's empire. Small place - possibly a better vibe in Catalana - but... Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
