Nice

This place was not too far from where we were staying. As the other places we've been eating at, the wait was long but a waiter was coming and we were able to order a sangria (which tasted more like a tinto de verano). Good tapas, very nice and friendly waitress. We also ordered a rice with the... read more

We went back to Tapas 24 on Carrer de la Diputació 269 for dinner. It was a leisurely half an hour walk of 1.9 km. As it was shortly after seven and well before the Spanish dinner time of 8 o'clock there was only a small lineup. We had 12gram Russian sturgeon caviar that cost us €30. It was served... More

There are literally hundreds of other tapas restaurants that are cheaper, don't have a big queue and are much tastier. We didn't listen to the bad reviews and we wish we did. An interesting selection of tapas but didn't have much flavor. I recommend you avoid this place if you can, I'd call it a tourist trap. I didn't see... More

Arrived at our hotel too early to check in. No problem Tapas 24 was highly recommended by Trip Advisor patrons , so we decide to go the three blocks there and have some lunch. You should know that my husband had to do this jaunt on crutches. Made it to the restaurant and went down stairs. It was 1:30 pm... More

Small but quaint. And always a line. It's popular so expect a bit of a wait. The servers are friendly and the tapas are authentic. Sangrias are excellent.

Excellent food. Unusual tapas, the Mc Foie Burger is a must try. La Bomba is the best. Best time to go, lunch time. Dinner, long wait. Very popular.

We visited this restaurant after doing some research outside tripadvisor and even though our expectations were high, they managed to exceed them. The food was FANTASTIC, with a massive choice of tapas of an excellent quality, but this was not what it stands out for me..... The service....was possibly the best I have never received. Our main waiter did not... More

We ate here for lunch on August and it was sensational! Yes, we had to line up but not for long and we knew it was going to be great judging by the line up, the gentleman in charge of looking after the line and the food on the tables. When we were about 3 or 4 from the front... More

Although there was a small queue we decided to wait and it was definitely worth it. We were seated quite quickly and efficiently, and service was good. The food was excellent and this was definitely the best tapas place we visited in Barcelona.

My husband and I ate here on the basis of all the positive reviews. It was average; lots of fried foods. Maybe other options on the menu would have been better.

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
