Maybe next time

Today we have been to this place to have a Xmas lunch. First things first, we were a group of 27 and this was the restaurant we could find that was free for such a group for these holidays. The price we were given, 27€, included starters, main course and desserts. All quite simple and something I... read more

From the service to the food, this restaurant is really perfect. We recommend! Maybe the price is a lil bit higher, but we pay the situation!

The prices are a little higher than other places in the area, and the food just isn't great, even compared to the KFC that's near it, and that's says a lot. The waitresses were cold, maybe due to the language barrier. What we ordered: Cod fillet - terrible, comes with decent confit potatoes and mushrooms on top. The fish itself... More

We asked our hotel receptionist for a pizza restaurant recommendation and were given directions to the Divinus plus a card for a free glass of Cava. The restaurant wasn't busy but it was only 7:00pm as we had an early flight home the following morning. We drank our Cava whilst making our selection from the menus and asked for a... More

Small restaurant near the university square, was pleasantly surprised with the lovely atmosphere and good food. We ordered two pizzas and two drinks and it only came to €16 Euros, very cheap!

Sea bass and fresh tuna salad were very good-tuna perfectly but the portions are tiny. 3 of our group had pizza - none of them enjoyed it. No atmosphere and the staff are unhelpful to the point of being rude. All rather miserable. On the expensive side too. Because of the lack of customer service I wouldn't return.

Divinus was recommended by the reception clerk at our hotel, who also gave us a voucher for a free glass of cava. As it was already 22:00 and we were after a long flight, we just decided to go with it. The restaurant has a modern air with comfortable tables and a U77 pleasant decor. We decided to split several... More

We were in Barcelona for a few days towards the end of July and luckily we came across this place on our final night, although I wish we had discovered it sooner! It was very late and originally, we were looking for somewhere quick, cheap and easy to eat so we could go back to the hotel but when we... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
