Brilliant food

Very quick and ultra polite service! Real homely authentic feel to this restaurant. We went with the recommended Taiwanese pork loin and chinese vegetables with a mixed fried rice. Everything was fresh and delicious. We will be back

A difficult place to find, but once there, the owners welcome you very warmly. The menu choices are wide and varied, but let down by the final quality of food; which was in my opinion, a little greasy and bland. Value for money was very good.

Visited the place as it was well reviewed by the Asian community. Friendly husband and wife owner. The owner will tell you what you should order for some real authentic Taiwanese food experience and none of that sweet and sour pork crap... So glad to have found the place after all the tapas.

Surprising to find an authentic Taiwanese restaurant in Barcelona. We had fish ball soup, house special pork and taiwanese fried rice which were all tasty. The owner was very nice and welcoming.

I found this restaurant on Tripadvisor. As others have said, we received a warm welcome and we enjoyed the food. The pork dish that others have recommended was excellent. Food came quickly. Price fair.

Hands down the best customer service I have ever received in a restaurant. They are truly grateful for your custom. The meal was lovely, I had chicken curry which was nice and my boyfriend had a dish recommended by the owner- Thai beef stew, you got loads of beef and it was tasty. We are so returning to this place

We wanted to diversify from the tapas, and got the recommendation for Son Hao. Not much of expectations to start with, but after being there and seeing the reviews, we have to corroborate most of them. The food is very good. The service is very friendly and helpful in the selection of the dishes. Tell the owner your preferences and... More

It's obviously a family business, and they do it really well. The owner is exceedingly friendly and made us feel very welcome. His wife cooks the food, which is divine. If you're looking for great Chinese/Taiwanese in Barcelona and a pleasant dining experience overall, definitely give Son Hao a try.

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
