Raco de'n Bauti - lovely tapas bar in quiet square

We found this tapas bar by chance and were very impressed by the food and the wait staff who went out of their way to give us great service. The local rioja is delicious and so is the parma ham plate. Very few other tourists around and mainly locals eating here!

Only tried it once but the food was very good and was all freshly cooked. Felt that as tourists we may have been sold more than we really wanted, but then that's my fault for not speaking Spanish properly. The meal was great. the wine was good and a bill of 50 Euros......not a first choice for us but very... More

El Raco de Bauti is a nice place to have a drink and dinner with tapas in the summer. Indeed it is located in a nice square in Sants, where locals are fond to go for donner or a drink. You can stay outside (if you find a place), the service is quite quick. The quality of food and the... More

We ate here twice during our recent stay in Barcelona. We were staying at the A C Sants hotel which is only a short walk from this restaurant. We had enjoyed dinner so much the first evening that we returned the next night which was the last night of our holiday. The food is excellent Spanish cuisine. Although we speak... More

We enjoyed this place quite a bit and in fact went back the second night during our recent stay in a nearby hotel last week. Personally I enjoyed the interaction with the staff even though we don't have any common spoken language between us, but one can feel their exuberance and friendliness toward us. Most important, they provide excellent food... More

Went to this restaurant because we read some good reviews on another website. Ended up making two visits during our one week stay. Really nice waiter who looked after us and our young daughter really well. We didn't want The Ritz, we wanted good quality local fare at a good price - this restaurant delivered exactly what we wanted, we... More

I paid a visit to this restaurant as it was near the hotel I was staying at and some of the reviews seemed quite positive. I arrived late at around 11pm. Got seated at the rear of the restaurant which was fine. The waiter spoke little to no English and I speak little to no Spanish. I wanted paella and... More

We have been living in Barcelona for 10 months and this restaurant is close to where we live. We eat here almost every Sunday and have to say that each experience has been memorable. We have had many people come to stay with us from Australia and we always take them to Raco d' Bauti. I always have the fish... More
