Fantastic atmosphere on this very small restaurant. The sausages and porkribs were very very good. The lady that served was perfect at her job. It is a place to come back too.
We saw the recommendation for Mam i Teca in the rough guide book and as we were staying in El Ravel we thought it worth a try! On the first occasion we visited we were the second of 2 couples dining. The restaurant is a cosy and small having only 5 tables and space at the bar, however despite this... More
My friend and I LOVED this place and I implore anyone to go there! The lady who rusn the place is a wonderful, generous host and managed to serve a full house on her own without keeping you waiting excessively and still making you feel that you had her full attention and servise at each interaction. The food was absolutely... More
The restaurant is off of the main touristic route. I was there late evening, only the four of us in the restaurant, it was like been guests of someone home for food quality and welcoming. Plates were described and suggested with loving attention, and there was not disappointment. Even the simply pimientos verdes was special. Suggested!
After reading the Tripadvisor reviews we tried Mam i teca and were very pleased. We were initially nervous, as there was no one in the restaurant. (It was 10pm on a Monday night, which we thought was normal time to dine.) But we were very impressed. It is only a small restaurant (about six tables) The waitiress/owner was happy to... More
This was one of my favorites while touring Spain. No frills, small little unassuming place but very good food! We had tapas, with some white bean dishes. All very good, with a nice bar selection!
I visited this restaurant with a work colleague. We were staying just up the street and were recommended it by the owner of the apartment. It was by far the best meal we had whilst in Barcelona. The menu options were very typical Catalan food. We asked the owner to choose 6 plates for us and we were not disappointed.... More
Recommended by the Renaissance hotel during Mobile World Congress (60,000+ international visitors), I was skeptical. That fear was immediately allayed on arrival. If you are serious about your food and don't need to be 'seen', this is Barcelona's best for local food and value. Terrific flavours, friendly service and great wine created a great experience.
We ate here on the recommendation of a local guide. Despite challenges finding the place, and then an ATM (they take cash only), it was more than worth it. The space is small - maybe 5 tables of 4, plus a bar area - so make a reservation and expect to know your neighboring tables. We started with a small... More
