Osmosis is in the heart of Barcelona?S Ensanche district. Contemporary seasonal Catalan cuisine is offered in a minimalist but relaxed environment. The main menu features just three starters, three fish dishes, three meat dishes and three desserts, to which they add weekly specials. Diners can opt for the set menu at 25 Euros or the tasting menu for 35 Euros. The restaurant makes great show of its long wine list featuring over 100 wines. We went for the 7 course menu with wine pairings, and really enjoyed the experience; the knowledge and enthusiasm of the staff shone through. Some of the courses were more impressive than others, but the menu was beautifully balanced, proportioned and presented. We were in the room upstairs, which was cosy and lined with books and bottles. The wines were... More

Really creative and flavorful food...Mediterranean inspired cuisine with local fresh ingredients that go great with their suggested wine pairings. Wonderful staff who is happy to share their enthusiasm for food. Enjoyed the tasting menu which included a creative take on foie gras, cod that burst with both ocean and citrus flavors, and oysters prepared with mascarpone and lime foam. Desserts... More

was overall a very good dining experience... food, wines and service were excellent. overall, was expecting a bit more (given it's reputation). the dishes could have been a more inspired, the food a bit more tasteful and challenging.

We decided to go for broke...the 7 course menu with all the wine pairings! I don't think I'll eat again! Each course was beautifully proportioned, exquisitely presented and tasted like it was meant for the gods! We are real foodies...and the service, presentation and food was superb! Could I choose a favorite course...perhaps the foie...maybe the leek velouté..no, maybe the... More

I came here last week with my partner for our anniversary and I have only positive things to say about the place. The restaurant is not huge, but has a cosy elegance, especially upstairs, which is stylishly decorated with books and wine bottles giving it a homely almost living room feel. We booked the restaurant through El Tenedor and so... More

This was one of our favorite dining experiences in Barcelona. The food was exceptional. We went for lunch and were also very impressed with their courteous staff. This is a tasting restaurant and you have 2 options with a smaller 5 course menu or larger at 7. We did the smaller and loved every course. We will definitely be returning... More

We had the tasting meue, I booked on like with the web The fork so by doing this I was able to get a 30 percent discount. Including the price was a glass of wine with each course, not the glass of Cava that was offered at the start. The price for two was about 120 Euro. The food and... More

I had dinner here for my father's birthday and it was an excellent choice! We had the 35€ menu which includes 5 main dishes, two appetisers, and bread and excellent olive oil (for 3€). We had a very good Catalan wine for 28€. The food was delicious, combining traditional Spanish food in novel ways and the waiters were super friendly and... More

Within 5 blocks of our hotel, we booked a reservation after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor. We knew it would be an expensive evening but we went for the spurge. We were seated in an intimate upstairs dining area - looked like an estate library. We both went for the 7 course tasting menu for 50 euros each. Since... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
