In 2000 ABaC Restaurant opened its doors in his first location, Carrer del Rec 79 in Barcelona. In May 2008 changed to his new address in Avenida Tibidabo, 1. The gastronomy is the fundamental axis of the project. The restaurant awarded with 2** Michelin, and nominated by The Best Restaurant 2011 in Catalonia by the Catalan Academy of Gastronomy, can seat up to 56 diners. Located in the newly constructed pavilion in direct contact with the garden, the interior and the exterior are found through large windows. It is a caprice of whites, in all tones. In a calm, neutral and elegant atmosphere, the sense of sophistication is shaped by the small details and the materials used, as well as a sophisticated combination of lights. The kitchen of 200 m2 has been designed by Joaquim Casademont. It is a black container, in which stainless steel furniture takes all leadership, an effect that has been reinforced by the lighting, a route marked by leds serves as a guide and allows the guests to cross it. Rooms for private events with a capacity of 20 to 60 diners respectively, complete its restoration facilities. The "Lounge Bar", which opens until 2.00 p.m. and where the music, light and color of the room subtly change; There is also an extensive cellar, offering near 1000 references, and from which you can select your perfect wine. Chef Jordi Cruz and his team of young professionals develop a creative cusine of superb technique, based on the product and which meets both creativity and tradition. In addition, our attentive yet friendly service create a professional but relaxed atmosphere, which makes ABaC holder of 2** Michelin.

Unique gastronomic experience. Do not miss it.

I had what's possibly one of the best 10 meals in my life. This restaurant deserves the 2** Michelin star rating it has. I have no idea why and how this place got not only one but two stars. The food is presented beautifully. However, they forgot the most basic thing: it needs to be tasty! And it is just not. We took the 12 courses tasting menu with wine tasting. We were served with cold bread that although wasn't stale, was getting... More

Have been to many other restaurants that are much better rated but didn't get the same service/quality/innovation than ABAC.. Definitely a place to try while passign by the city Take the 16 course menu with assorted wines, and enjoy one of the best foodies experience ever I should be going back to Barcelona in October and will definitely pay ABAC... Barcelona has lots of great restaurant. ABaC is defenitely one of them. The service and food was impeccable. The wine pairing was great and after the dinner I was given the opportunity to look at the kitchen where the food prep was done. Great work Chef!

They have two tasting menus, one is ~135 euro; the other one is ~ 185 euro (don't remember the price exactly). We picked the expensive one and I also picked the wine pairing (which is ~ 85 euro). Food is great, meets our expectation for a 2 star michelin. Dinner took around 3.5 hours for 16 dishes so don't arrive... More

If I had been unaware of the Michelin rating of this restaurant beforehand, and if their prices were half what they are, my summary would have been that Abac has good potential, with a bit more effort, a lot of training and polishing around the edges it could push for 1 Michelin Star. Is it deserving of 1 on this... More

We spent big bucks to do this while in Spain but worth every penny! They took care of our food allergies and aversions. Our group was louder than the other people who took pics of every dish and didn't speak. Food was forward but delicious. When in Barcelona do this! Email for reservations in advance.

We were a table of four, for a menu degustacion, together with matched wines. Let's understand firstly that this menu is more expensive than the menu degustacion at Celler de Can Roca. ABaC does an excellent job with at least 3-4 stand out dishes on the degustacion menu. But it was couple of details which really shows to what extent... More

I booked a couple of months in advance and received an email confirmation but did not see there was a dress code notation at the bottom. My fault. I arrived where nice shorts and a button up but was informed men were not allowed to wear shorts. They offered me slacks. Problem solved. We did the 14 course tasting menu... More

This is a superb restaurant. There is soemthign bizarre that it comes so low in Trip Advisor ratings when it is such an outstanding restaurant. The food was as interesting as any of the three star Michelin restaurants we have eaten at, except maybe the deserts. We arrive 30 minutes before the restaurant opened, we were welcomed in, given a drink and from...
