Description: DINING In 2000 ABaC Restaurant opened its doors in his first location, Carrer del Rec 79 in Barcelona. In May 2008 changed to his new address in Avenida Tibidabo, 1.The gastronomy is the fundamental axis of the project. The restaurant awarded with 2** Michelin, and nominated by The Best Restaurant 2011 in Catalonia by the Catalan Academy of Gastronomy, can seat up to 56 diners. Located in the newly constructed pavilion in direct contact with the garden, the interior and the exterior are found through large windows. It is a caprice of whites, in all tones. In a calm, neutral and elegant atmosphere, the sense of sophistication is shaped by the small details and the materials used, as well as a sophisticated combination of lights. The kitchen of 200 m2 has been designed by Joaquim Casademont. It is a black container, in which stainless steel furniture takes all leadership, an effect that has been reinforced by the lighting, a route marked by leds serves as a guide and allows the guests to cross it.Rooms for private events with a capacity of 20 to 60 diners respectively, complete its restoration facilities. The “Lounge Bar”, which opens until 2.00 p.m. and where the music, light and color of the room subtly change; There is also an extensive cellar, offering near 1000 references, and from which you can select your perfect wine.

This restaurant is a real experience! From the elegant setting and service to the highly unusual, but delicious food preparation, it is clear why this is a Michelin star rated restaurant . We did not do the fixed prix menu and the dishes are very expensive but there are a lot of extras that come with the meal and overall... More

We have eaten at ABaC on four occasions over the past 6 years -- we try to visit every time we are in Barcelona. Our first meal was when the restaurant was under the purview of the founding chef, Xavier Pellicier. That experience helped us understand that Michelin stars mean a truly special dining experience. This was our third meal... More

We visited ABaC during our stay in Barcelona. From the time we walked into the stylish and modern restaurant we were surrounded by perfection. We choose the ABaC menu and didn’t regret our choice. Gastronomic heaven in every bite. Outstanding service at all time, never meet anyone like their team and of cause, fantastic food. We were in Barcelona to... More

as an exprience food lover and proffesional chef, i rarely get annoyed when going to Michelin starred restaurants but this was over the egde, food was in best, luke warm lacking of intensity in taste, on the otherhand very special flavor combinations was taking over making some of the dishes very awful. Service was arrogant but professional.

Fantastic service and truly amazing food. Eating here is a superb experience for any foodie. The tasting menu we had was full of really tasty and brilliantly executed dishes. The 'tomato snow' was to die for. GO. You will not be disappointed!

This is an excellent restaurant to enjoy with friends or for business. Experience the creations of Jordi Cruz and be delighted a superb wine list. Well deserved Micheline status Steak tartar and nitro passion are an explosion of flavors.

My family was recommended to eat at Abac and it didn't disappoint. It is an impressive venue-you have to call through a telecom making it feel very exclusive. The service was impeccable, the menu choices included a la carte,10 or 15 courses. We did the 15 which highlighted fish and pork with flavor so have never experienced before. Adventurous eating... On 8/2/2014 we had dinner in the ABaC restaurant in Barcelona. For all food fashionista's, this place is a must to see and taste the the splendid creations . It was just fabulous. I am surprised he (only) has two stars. He can easily stand besides the three star restaurants we have in Belgium and the Netherlands. Giovanni Alessi, Belgium

We decided on a chefs tasting which I believe was 15 courses of small bites that added up to one amazing meal. It was both visually stunning and delicious all the way thru. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our dinind experience. The only negative was that as I meal progressed I found that all those small... More
