Description: In 2000 ABaC Restaurant opened its doors in his first location, Carrer del Rec 79 in Barcelona. In May 2008 changed to his new address in Avenida Tibidabo, 1. The gastronomy is the fundamental axis of the project. The restaurant awarded with 2** Michelin, and nominated by The Best Restaurant 2011 in Catalonia by the Catalan Academy of Gastronomy, can seat up to 56 diners. Located in the newly constructed pavilion in direct contact with the garden, the interior and the exterior are found through large windows. It is a caprice of whites, in all tones. In a calm, neutral and elegant atmosphere, the sense of sophistication is shaped by the small details and the materials used, as well as a sophisticated combination of lights. The kitchen of 200 m2 has been designed by Joaquim Casademont. It is a black container, in which stainless steel furniture takes all leadership, an effect that has been reinforced by the lighting, a route marked by leds serves as a guide and allows the guests to cross it. Rooms for private events with a capacity of 20 to 60 diners respectively, complete its restoration facilities. The "Lounge Bar", which opens until 2.00 p.m. and where the music, light and color of the room subtly change; There is also an extensive cellar, offering near 1000 references, and from which you can select your perfect wine. Chef Jordi Cruz and his team of young professionals develop a creative cusine of superb technique, based on the product and which meets both creativity and tradition. In addition, our attentive yet friendly service create a professional but relaxed atmosphere, which makes ABaC holder of 2** Michelin.

Gets great reviews, but found this a bit disappointing and uninspired. Very explicit that they couldn't take us till late, but indeed the place was only about 2/3 full. Variable service - a few younger folks clearly lost - re water, wine, etc. Older staff a bit odd - clear beliefs about wine that accepted little discussion. And the food... More

Each plate is wonderful. You have different types of menu. Is note easy to describe each plate because there are so many with theri own particular names. Each plate is welldefined, evene the dessert

Creative dishes made for an unforgettable special occasion. We ate a variety of cold and warm dishes that included beef and seafood. A multiple course meal that kept us anticipating and wanting the next dish. They really made us feel special as guests at their restaurant and hotel.

We made a pilgrimage to this hidden gem of a restaurant late one evening, of course the shank of the evening in Barcelona. One of the most elegant interiors I've dined in; a modern classic. Every item from table cloth, dining implement, serving piece was custom made. Every course was served on dinnerware specifically designed for that course. There was... More

Usually when you visit Stared restaurants you expect good food but this one is really awesome! Absolutely perfect. Meat Tartar selection is a masterpiece. Oysters selection either. A superb culinary experience that I would like to recommend to those looking for something extraordinary!

We had really looked forward to ABaC during our 3-day visit in Barcelona. As regular visitors to high end restaurants around the world, Barcelona is one of our favorite places to go to. However, we were disappointed with ABaC, as it didn't live up to expectations although the food was mostly very good. The interior is rather stiff, it's nothing... More

We were staying at the hotel and decided to eat there on my birthday. It's very expensive (we went for the full taster menu) but worth it. Dishes were exquisite, presented beautifully and just as Michelin star restaurants should, each course was unveiled at the same time for both of us. Unusual menu with a little bit of theatre surrounding... More

We booked AbaC several months before we came to Barcelona based upon its reputation as a once in a lifetime dining expereince. We arrived 30 minutes prior to our reservation and spent half an hour on the patio having drinks. Very nice. Service excellent. When it came time to eat, we where whisked past the dining room into am offshoot... More
