Description: In 2000 ABaC Restaurant opened its doors in his first location, Carrer del Rec 79 in Barcelona. In May 2008 changed to his new address in Avenida Tibidabo, 1. The gastronomy is the fundamental axis of the project. The restaurant awarded with 2** Michelin, and nominated by The Best Restaurant 2011 in Catalonia by the Catalan Academy of Gastronomy, can seat up to 56 diners. Located in the newly constructed pavilion in direct contact with the garden, the interior and the exterior are found through large windows. It is a caprice of whites, in all tones. In a calm, neutral and elegant atmosphere, the sense of sophistication is shaped by the small details and the materials used, as well as a sophisticated combination of lights. The kitchen of 200 m2 has been designed by Joaquim Casademont. It is a black container, in which stainless steel furniture takes all leadership, an effect that has been reinforced by the lighting, a route marked by leds serves as a guide and allows the guests to cross it. Rooms for private events with a capacity of 20 to 60 diners respectively, complete its restoration facilities. The "Lounge Bar", which opens until 2.00 p.m. and where the music, light and color of the room subtly change; There is also an extensive cellar, offering near 1000 references, and from which you can select your perfect wine. Chef Jordi Cruz and his team of young professionals develop a creative cusine of superb technique, based on the product and which meets both creativity and tradition. In addition, our attentive yet friendly service create a professional but relaxed atmosphere, which makes ABaC holder of 2** Michelin.

We did the 10-course tasting menu for dinner. I'm not sure how anyone can manage 16 courses. Although the servings weren't large by the end we were very full. At the end they gave us madeleines, candy and chocolate treats that we just couldn't eat. Instead we enjoyed them the next day for breakfast! The courses were well paced and... More

This was an amazing tasting menu. It was so fun getting each course. It was a bit rushed but fun to get to the next course.

Went for the Grand ABaC menu which was 10 or 11 courses, with the wine pairings. The food lived up to expectations, only thing I didn't like was the oyster course but I can't eat oysters anywhere. The wines were from multiple areas in Europe and complemented the food well. I was solo and never felt bored as the dishes... More

Just to be clear, 3 star ain't bad. Just that with such fine settings and food, the services became undesirable. The food was excellent, we kept comparing it with Atelier Crenn (which was/is our favorite restaurant). We ordered the 16 course Environment was excellent, high ceiling w/ modern/clean settings and adequate privacy, Services started great! We were greeted by restaurant's... More

This is a truly outstanding molecular gastronomy cuisine. The lunch there (did not find a place for dinner) was fabulous. The long list of small dishes were highly innovative and surprising. Definitely one of the best meals I ever had! (The pics are from the "cheaper" 139 Euro menu, unfortunately I had a hard time matching the name and the... More

Fabulous meal. We ordered the Abac tasting menu with the wine pairing. The food was exceptional. The flavors, the textures, the aromas were a total delight. This restaurant is a must gourmet dining experience. We had lunch outside on the garden patio; it was quiet, beautiful, and extremely peaceful. The only down side is that they will enforce the dress... More

This was my first time at Abac; we came with my wife to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Overall this was an amazing dinner where texture and innovation were key. I have been to many 2-3 Michelin star restaurants including one ranked in the top five (e.g. Celler de. Can Roca, Fat Duck, etc.). I will use those as a benchmark.... More
