Lost in a tacky time warp, outdated, stodgy Italian food

Amazing food with lots of vegetarian options! they give you a tasting plate of your partners dish which is nice! the decor and atmosphere is lovely too! Would recommend for authentic italian cuisine and a nice restaurant without it being overly posh!

Truly sublime, seriously thought we had died and gone to some gastronomic heaven! the puttanesca, flavoursome and packs all the taste you want. Small tasting dishes of your partners meal. The staff were curteous, attentive, and so thoughtful, complimentary limoncello to complete a beautiful evening. To our comedic doorman a huge thank you for an awesome recommendation. Just go and... This is some of the best italian food I have ever had. If you are looking for a great italian meal go here! My advice is to go with a big group and have each person order something different because they bring out smaller plates of each dish for everyone to try. Everything is absolutely amazing and you can't go... More

what a great setting, if you didn't know it, you would walk past it and miss a great experience. The restaurant is wonderfully decorated, great art pieces, comfortable chairs, something that as I get older I appreciate more. The food is excellent, the tasting plates are a great idea, if we lived in Barca we'd be regulars.

This is a very good restaurant. I loved the idea that they would serve you your main mean and add a small dish of the same meal for your friends to taste what you are eating. Was a good chance to taste 2 more dishes :) Also, the chef (who is the owner) took the order of the appetizer and... More

I 1st visited Da Greco 4 years ago and had to come back. I love the fact that it is a family restaurant and that Tony always comes to your table. The food is lovely and they always do "taster portions" for you to try your partners food. I had the lobster spaghetti which was fabulous. I am pregnant and... More

Absolutely one of the best meals I've had in the past ten years! I can't thank Chef Greco enough for his hospitality. From finding us a table when we didn't have a reservation to making us feel welcome by stopping by and being engaging - it's clear he loves what he does and takes pride in it. The food is... More

Group of 30 in separate room. Food in abundance (three primi!). Wine nice and average. Service nice and efficient. Difficult to find but rewarding when you do.

It's a lovely place, however, I was expecting much more. It wasn't very full and they put us close to a very noisy FAN. The food was ok, the wine were great. But the experience overall was average.

Neighborhood Profile
Gracia
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the center, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theater that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
