Great little find

Good quality steaks and very reasonable in terms of price. We both order steak. We asked for medium rare. They came more on the rare side but the meat was excellent quality so it didn't matter. We had three starters and none of them set the world alight. Would miss them out when we go back, which... read more

This was my second visit to this Argentinian restaurant. They serve excellent meat, you can blindly choose from sirloin, ribeye, tenderloin - all of them are exquisite. Service is careful. Recommended.

The meal was pretty good, we had the veal and mushroom salad to start which was amazing and the mixed grill for 2 - chicken was amazing, rest was ok. I enjoyed the evening, not sure I'd return though

Booked here after not being able to get a table at another Argentinian restaurant nearby and so glad we were. The MOST incredible steaks either of us have ever had (and we like our steaks!) I had the entrecôte and hubby had the solomillo. Fantastic. Service equally excellent and incredible value for money. The house Malbec was superb. Highly recommended... More

Just been to Pampero. Food was great and very good value for the quality. Surprisingly quiet even though it was a Tuesday night but don't let that put you off. More people need to eat here!! And great free shot to finish the night off. Wish I had remembered the name of it...

Hello Simon we're very glad you spent a good time at Pampero! We don't certainly remember what liqueur you had, but if it was the argentine one, its name is "Legui", very sweet and typical. Kind regards! More

Great service, great food, well worth the 15 min taxi ride from las ramblas. Must try the tenderloin if you're a beefsteak fan.

Easy to get to but off the main drag, we were warmly welcomed by Diego who gave us excellent service throughout. Delicious steak in a nice rich sauce(we tried the entrecôte with gorgonzola sauce and the tenderloin with mushroom sauce), washed down with some lovely Argentinian wine. I had the panqueque de dulce de leche as dessert - very nice,... More

This out of the way Argentinian steakhouse did a great job with real meat, obviously from the pampas. The restaurant was not full and service was attentive and quick – many of the staff were actually Argentinian and they had photographs to prove it. The wine-list was unusual, with good Argentinian as well as local wines, and the food freshly... More

Been here a couple of times - had a nice steak both times with a lovely bottle of Malbec - only opens at 9pm so don't come early!

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
