A nice place for dinner with sea products. The waiters are only male. Tasty paella -- black and traditional. Tips are included in the cheque. Many people sitting at porch to compare with the nearby restaurants.

Clearly the restaurant has a great location by the marina and gets a lot of passing trade as a result. Sitting on the terrace in the sun is great, watching people. So what about the food? Its okay. The "special" paella had two clam shells, plus prawns, squid and fish. The flavour was okay but nothing to write home about.... More

My review may be influenced by the fact that we were sitting outside in glorious sunshine at the beginning of November watching people sunbathe on the beach. a good start then! I have read the reviews complaining about the service, all I can say is it was very Spanish, that is, superbly professional but in no way condescending. I personally... More

I cam here as part of a business dinner and was pleasantly surprised. I expected a tourist trap with awful food, but my zarzuela (grilled seafood in a rich tomato-based sauce) was extremely tasty. I have no idea what the final bill was, but I guess it was expensive. Service was not so good. Would I choose here if I... More

This was a very disappointing evening. The man who showed us to the table was really miserable and unwelcoming. The waiters were no better. The paella was appalling. Would not recommend going here. I think they rely on their location by the Harbour, but management really need to send their staff on some customer service training.

Although there are definitively cheaper places with the same quality of food (or better) this restaurant serves good food. The location is nice; at the harbour. And the staff is friendly but a little on the auto pilot. As a matter of fact I do not have any complaints but I was not impressed either.

This is located in the Barcelonetta porte veil. Atmosphere wise there is nothing special but it is a clean, decent place. Seafood wise, we ordered a number of starters and fish for main. We opted for navajas (nothing special , chewy), salad, clams (lots of butter, heavy sauce), and small fried fish. On the latter we ordered the small fried... More

The restaurant has an amazing location, right on the sea front. Its quite a big facility and accommodates a lot of guests. My wife and I sat in a corner with our 2 kids who were sleeping in the strollers. We enjoyed a greeaaaaat meal of sea food. Amazing quality, big portions, and mouth watering taste. The check at the... More

Overlooks the marina, so couldn't be better location, especially at night - magical spot. I'm afraid that's where the good stuff ends.... The food was poor, if I'm honest - my wife had probably the worst offering of Paella I have ever seen. My roasted scampi were just OK, but at Euro36, with no accompaniment, I expected something a bit... More

Staying in Barceloneta

Neighborhood Profile
Originally a fisherman’s quarter, this quaint area can’t escape its small village feel: laundry hanging over the narrow streets, old ladies clamoring at each other from their balconies and elder gentlemen playing games on short wooden benches gossiping the day away, Barceloneta could double as a film set. Artists line the boardwalk displaying their magnificently detailed sand structures making this the most visited beach in the city (the shirtless men working out might help too). You’ll know by the delicious aroma that you're in the right place to try some of the best and most authentic seafood including paella, Spain’s national dish.
