Walked from our hotel in Gothic Quarter to Ciudad Condal(20 min), waited 5 min for table outside for 4. Great Sangria. 4 of us shared Beef tenderloin, Spanish omelette (seems to be egg, potato everywhere), Potatoes with a creamy sauce, bread with tomato (basil?), salad greens, olives, with some tuna(only oil, vinegar dressing offered). After I saw their sit down... More

We found this by trip advisor and had a really nice lunch of various tapas. It was our first tapas restaurant in Barcelona and it did not disappoint.

The selection of tapas alone is incredible, each one an adventure in its own. We sat at the bar right in front of the entrance and the service was amazing (thanks Daniel!). There are so many reviews on this place that talk about how good the food is, and it proved to be the case. Do not miss out in... More

I ate at Ciudad Condal with a large group and was impressed with the food, service and wine selection. In fact, the food was so good, that we went back a second time during our stay in Barcelona. If you want to see what the Tapas fuss is all about, check out Ciudad Condal.

We stop to eat tapas here every time we are in Barcelona. It is located at the top of Las Ramblas. Getting a table is problematic and you really do feel ignored. But if you are looking for a good place to taste tapas this is it. Go in early and put your name on the list then go exploring.... More

This was one of our favourite restaurant in Barcelona. The tapas was delicious! The service was top notch. The first time we were there our waitress was kind enough to explain the menu that was in spanish to us. Every tapas, dessert and Sangria so delicious! It does get very busy at dinner time so make reservations or you can... More

I've heard that this was a good place to eat, and the food was good. But seriously I can't see why the staff has to be so angry and ignoring all the guests. We couldn't get any attention of the waiter we had, and he didn't care less! We got placed at the back of the restaurant that seemed like... More

Tasty tapas, delicious wines and beers, some expensive, some places are you waiting for, but worth it. Barcelona should be a classic.

We ate here one night (June 29) while we were in Barcelona prior to leaving on our Princess cruise. There were 4 of us and and we ordered an assortment of tapas items. Everything was spectacular, and the portions were very large. I have had tapas a number of times, and generally find that the portions are tiny and pricey.... More
