Mmmmm tapas!

We love this place! They have great tapas. I prefer to sit inside not out in their terrasse. We like sitting at the bar area. We love their mini tortillas de patatas, their pà amb tomàquet with coca bread, their jamón ibérico, their saltejat de bolets, etc... Everytime we are in Barcelona we go... read more

Having not booked in advance we had quite a wait to get a table, but despite the vast numbers of people waiting and continuing to arrive the staff coped remarkably calmly. Obviously popular with visitors and locals alike it was worth the wait. Once inside the experience well organised and the food really good, with a great variety of tapas... More

We were recommended to eat here on the lunchtime we arrived in Barcelona by the people we rented our apartment from. We sat outside and had a selection of tapas dishes. What we ordered was fine however I would not rate it as the best place we ate. There seemed to be rather a lot of flies which wasn't pleasant.... More

always very busy, so calculate at least 20 - 30 min waiting time for a table, huge variety of tapas, very Spanish, place to b mix of tourist and locals.

This place came highly recommended by several people. It's a short walk from Plaza de Catalunya/La Rambla, and you can spot it from far due to the crowd of people waiting for free tables. You can't drink in public areas in Barcelona, however, our party of 9 sneaked out some cold beer and we made ourselves comfortable on the curb.... More

The staff in our hotel told us that this is a typical Spanish restaurant where locals eat. The food was very nice, the wine was good. We had a very nice time here! We were nicely surprised when we payed the bill!

Been in barca for a few days and were recommended to visit this place. What a find. Quality food at a really reasonable price. This place is justifiably busy for a reason and as I understand they don't take reservations so be prepared to wait. It's not s problem as the car is great. A definite must visit.

A friend who now works in Barcelona recommended this to us. The tapas were delicious! The servers are helpful and patient in explaining the items on the menu, given that we are tourists who are new to the restaurant. The location is also a plus because it's easy to locate.

We ate here our 1st day in the recommendation of our driver. He said it was his favorite casual dining restaurant for tapas. We absolutely loved it .. and the drinks were great too. Not sure how anyone could think it was overpriced. We ate tapas until we were full with drinks and our bill was just a little over... More

These folks do nothing wrong and it is that simple. Service, atmosphere, high quality food, and on top of the the prices are very reasonable. We ate here three time in one day and did not have the same thing once. If you like a place that does everything right this is the place to go, simple as that. Best... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
