If you are visiting Barcelona, make sure this restaurant is on your list of places to eat the steaks are really very very good I went there with my work colleagues whilst visiting our annual sales conference and we had an amazing meal! The meat is imported from Argentina and the portions are good. I highly recommend the Black Pudding,... More

We went at lunchtime to the Patagonia which in my opinion is the best Argentinian restaurant in Barcelona. We chose the "Menu Estrella", so as not to have to think too much! It began with five typical Argentinian starters: sausage (very tasty); provoleta (the Italian provelone cheese, grilled until melted and served with herbs - excellent); empanadas (pastry filled with... I had filet mignon. The steak was unevenly done and it arrived to table cut in three pieces - obviously the cook was unsure of his own skills. There was a big lump of unedible tendons in the middle of the steak. The waiter was very arrogant when we tried to give feedback. Also hugely overpriced. Can't recommend. Best avoided!

Dear Sir Many thanks for visiting us and giving us your opinion, which is always important for helping us, improve our service. We have been investigating your experience and arrive to the conclusion that your meat was cut by a new cook who was not experienced enough and made a mistake in cutting a particular part of the sirloin. Came to Barcelona for Christmas and had a most fantastic steak and fries here. The steak was done to perfection - they were careful to explain what "medium rare" and "medium" means in Spain as the terminology does differ from country to country! The service was excellent too, friendly, efficient and very helpful.

I went have dinner with friends. The place its simple, I wouldn't say sophisticated but close enough. The service it's nice and very helpful. We started with surtido de empanaditas tradicionales (4 small empanadas: beef, ham & cheese, “humita” (maize in white sauce), and cheese & onion), they were ok, nothing special. I wouldn't ask again. Then we had bife... More

I went there with my family today and we had an amzing meal! The meat is imported from Argentina and the portions are very decent. I don't recommend taking the salad as side dish, it's better to order the other side dishes which are much tastier. I also recommed the empanadas as starter. It's not expensive at all! It's really... We had such a great meal here one night on our tour of this part of Spain that we made a detour from the airport on our last day - to have lunch before travelling back to London. I have been lucky enough to eat in some of the best steakhouses in Chicago and New York but for me this... More

The room actually feels quite unwelcoming and i was surprised to see a buffet style salad bar (with very little choice) but it came well recommended. The steak was OK, the salad pretty ordinary really and the staff not very engaging. Dont get me wrong - it was not horrible - just not fantastic. Ordinary all round and perhaps a... More

We were struggling to decide where to eat and asked our hotel to suggest a few places. This Argentinian Steak house was great with some of the biggest, juiciest steaks that we have ever had. Some of the portion sizes defeated us but the meat was very good indeed.
