We lived in Barceloneta for a month, and this was easily our favorite restaurant. It's quite a small place, but the heart and knowledge they put in cooking the dishes from great ingredients is just awesome! They also have good wines, although not that comprehensive list, but some fine wines are to be found for excellent prices. This is one... More

During a business trip in Barcelona, a few colleagues and I were looking for a nice place to have dinner. We looked in TripAdvisor and found this place. We took a cab and started making our way towards the restaurant and as we were getting closer, it became obvious we weren’t on a main road or busy area. When we... More

This lovely little restaurant is chef-owned and has spectacular food. Last time we were in Barcelona, we ate there three nights out of seven. In a city with incredible food, this is quite a commitment. Everything was excellent, including a small but very competent wine list. The rabbit was a favorite, but the very best dish in my opinion was... More

We were looking for another place in Barcoleneta, when we walked pasted Somorrostro, an on an impulse walked in. As it was only 9 pm, we got one of the 10-15 tables with a great view of the open kitchen. The space is cosy, brick walls and wooden tables. As far as we heard, all other guests were Spanish speaking.... More

We chose this restaurant as it had a good TripAdvisor rating, was in an interesting part of town, and we could book on line. The service was charming, engaging and super friendly. The food was excellent. The two adults adored our meals, and our fussy children also cleared their plates. The menu was short but flavoursome. I plan to go... More

We had dinner and took the tasting menu: 7 dishes, all excellent. You can't choose them and have to let the chef decide, but none of them was below our expectations. Furthermore, you can see the chefs prepare the food in front of you. But the most surprising was the price: it's one the best value for money we've ever... More

We found this restaurant by recommendation of a Barcelona guidebook and really anticipated our meal here. The menu changes daily, and the options are limited to just a couple choices based on what the chef is preparing that day. The meal was quite expensive and we just found the food to be so-so, especially for the price. We were not... More

we were booked into a restaurant on the recommendation of our hotel, once we read the reviews we decided to cancel our booking and we found this little gem. Locally sourced food, chefs with passion, you can watch them prepare the food. The waiting staff were so helpful and explained how the food was prepared. I had the most delicious... More

We ate there last night (16.10.14). The staff were friendly but vague. My wife started with mussels which were fresh but were spoilt by a bottled salad dressing. I had grilled octopus with fresh avocado sauce which was very good. She then had sea bass and salad where good taste was spoilt by being served on a very cold plate.... More

We found the place by coincidence, looked it up on TripAdvisor and waited for the place to open. First of all, the place is very cosy and we felt welcome. We chose the degustation menu and at 44€ it is an absolute steal! Seven wonderfully prepared and well presented courses. We cannot recommend this enough at that price. The kitchen... More
