Fun & tasty

This restaurant is on Las Rambla, just a block from Plaza Catalunya. It was recommended by the Concierge at Hotel Pulitzer and was wonderful. Service and food were excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening there.

Came for a late meal when most other kitchens were already closed ( around midnight) The food wasn't superb, neither the place or the service, but hey - I did get to eat :)

Stopped for lunch . Sat up in the restaurant. The food was great and the service was exceptional. There is the option to sit at the bar for a tapas if you like. Would definitely come again.

Barcelona has several good restaurants. Some of them are truly amazing. But La tramoia is sensational. We went there once, and before we left Barcelona we had to come back. Pedro, the waiter was amazing, and despite the place to be really full, he managed to remember us, and gave us so much attention. The food was amazing, the cost... More

I walked in to have a beer and ended up trying some of the tapas. They were excellent, just like the service from the bar tender, Aitor, causing me to make reservations for the following Saturday! Very friendly staff and great food to try!

You can either sit by the table or by the bar and enjoy a variety of fresh tapas. Don't be shy, try as much as you can eat. You will be surprised with the combination and tastes.

One Saturday night, me and my partner decided to go here and it was by far the WORST decision we have ever made. We were both really hungry and when I ordered paella for my main dish, I was told it would take 30 minutes to make as it was freshly made. I was understanding of this and ordered some... More

Had two or three Tapas in Tramoia on 3 occasions. Portions were good as was quality of food particularly Calamares, Patatas Bravas and crispy chicken. Service was a lot better than other reviewers experienced. All in all a favourable experience.

We had steak, gambas, and a few tapas.Since we sat at the bar counter so we got good views of those tapas, we kept ordering here and there. It was fun! Everything in a nutshell was good. A waiter at the bar was ok, not friendly, but not rude either. However, the restaurant hostess on that evening was not that... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
