Breakfast in Barcelona

Bad service, rude waiters. The food was alright, but did not worth the money. I wouldn't go again. They made us wait for the menus for like 20 min and they started picking up the tables and turned off the lights when we still had full drinks on the table.

Excellent well priced food. The staff at this restaurant are all VERY friendly and efficient. There are quite a few tables outside on the sidewalk to eat at as well. The restaurant is 2 stories; however, the upstairs does not open until 7:30PM. HUGE selection of items on their menu. Their steak is delicious and all of the items are... More

Very nice. The tables outside are the best place to enjoy the city during your stay there. Nice attendance and delicious food. Practical and nice prices. Love it

Nothing more to say than this is a terrible place to go to with very pushy and unorganised staff who only want you to pick the most expensive things on the menu. Some things we ordered we never had, some things were charged way to expensive, there is a dodgy service charge which is mentioned on the menu card in... More

This may have been one of the worst restaurant experiences in recent memory. We were basically ignored from the moment we were seated. Shortly after we arrived a couple two tables away threw their napkins down and left. I noticed several people looking at their watches. This should have been our cue to try a different restaurant, but we didn't.... More

The food was good, but the waiter kept trying to get me to order more food, though I had already ordered more than I needed. When to food came, it was good. They make tourists sit upstairs and the locals sit downstairs, which I did not like. Would I return? No.

We visited this restaurant on our last night in Barcelona. The food was average and highly priced. It is one of them tourist traps where the waiters lure you in. We got charged for bread which we didn't order which the waiter said was a 'service charge' and we also got charged for mixed veg which came as part of... More

Even if waiters have been a bit slow, the dishes were very tasteful and refined for an average price, especially for the grilled salmon: I highly recommend it. Rate 4/5

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
