We came here as a result of the reviews but left disappointed, food is ok ( did not like the obama thing but that is down to taste not quality ) but there are many better places to eat in Valladolid. The staff are efficient but pretentous in my opinion, why dont they ever smile or talk to you ??... More

We went here for a diner after reading about this place online. It is true that some tapas are very original, we took one of each tapas and there were some we liked more then others, but in general it was good. We liked Obama's tapas, the shrimp one and the jamon iberrico one the most. Also, the croqetas were... More

We ate here twice: once for lunch (a good meal) and stopped by at night for tapas (wonderful). The comments about waitstaff not being the nicest are pretty spot on but, for us, the originality of the tapas made up for any shortcomings offered from the quality of the service. Well worth a stop during a nightly tapeo.

We really enjoyed a night of tapas, the most unusual we had in Spain.

This is my first choice when it comes to tapas in Valladolid. Around the Plaza Mayor Area therea are lots of good bars and restaurants, but this one is still one of my favourites. And perhaps one of the reasons to return to Valladolid's International Film Festival year after year is to pay a visit to Los Zagales to find... More

Even if the staff is sometimes overbooked (or, worst, really unpleasant when entering the restaurant at the second floor level : maybe the man should change job), the variety and quality of the tapas is very interesting : great taste, inventiveness ("Obama en la casa blanca" with a subtle truffle pinch), good price, excellent local wines (check the Bornos sauvignon... We had a meal here once during our stay in Valladolid – it’s very central, just off Plaza Mayor – they don’t start serving dinner until 9.15pm and it gets really busy – on the day we were there, they had two large parties. It’s a varied menu and if you ask they have a menu in English which helps... More
