I are here last year. When my husband heard about their wonderful cochinillo, he decided that we should visit Segovia in order to taste Duque's version of it. We were not disappointed. Since we did not order any starters, they gave us a freebie- crispy pork bits. Very good. The cochinillo did not disappoint. It was crispy and tasty. The... More

We were recommended this restaurant by a spanish friend. We arrived rather late for lunch and still, they only had 1 free table just next to the kitchen door. We ordered cochinillo asado and chuletitas de lechazo. Both delicious. Desserts were great as well. The service was swift and friendly. Would come back anytime.

I have never before written a negative review, but feel compelled to tell my story about this restaurant. We were a party of six people who were celebrating a special occasion on the 10th of July and chose this restaurant after great deliberation. Food and drinks were ordered and the evening was going well until a waitress accidentally spilled a... More

This restaurant is a must visit if you have the time or have very good friends who live in Madrid (as we did), to drive you from Madrid to sample something you would not normally not get to sample as a tourist.. This restaurant is one of the oldest in Segovia (Maestro Asado de Segovia desde 1895). Classy restaurant with... More

My husband and I stepped into this restaurant after I had read good reviews about it from TripAdvisor. It is a short walk from the Aqueducts. We got there around 1245pm and there were people putting their names down on a waitlist for lunch/dinner (no idea which one) but the restaurant was empty! We asked if we could have an... More

I contacted this restaurant via their own website a full week before travelling to Segovia. I was there with a school trip and I wanted my students to savour an authentic atmosphere. They did not even have the courtesy to respond. Interactive tour looks great but isn't 't much good if they avoid business by being rude! Crisis? what crisis?

I was hesitant to eat at a place like this because I feared it was a merely a tourist trap. I was wrong. It's a very cool place and the pig was excellent. We had the table of cheeses as an appetizer followed by the cochinillo. It was a great experience.

There was hardly anyone in the bar part of the establishment and so we had excellent service and attention. We ate a huge number of tapas dishes which were all without exception delicious, we drank several beers between the four of us and the bill was only just over €13. We thought they had made a mistake!

We all ordered the Gastronomic Menu for lunch - yes it's pretty pricey, but the amount of food you get is scary huge. However, we all managed to eat all of it. I still can't believe it. It includes, a selection of various starters, the roasted pig, the typical local dessert, a bottle of wine, coffee, and bread. The starter... More

By far the best morcilla (blood sausage) I've ever had. For real. Per the owner a local woman used to sell the sausage back in her day and now her grandchildren continue the business. Also delicious salad, potatoes, sausage sample platter, and chinchillo (lechón). Being gluten free and dairy free my dessert options in Spain are limited but they made... More
