Duck inside here to escape a string of rain showers that were plowing through Segovia that day. What a nice, warm and dry break. Cozy, well lit, very clean with a handsome wood interior. there is a gorgeous display of goodies in a glass case up front- and that is where they get you! It is a thin. rather long... More

I had delicious ponche here! It started pouring while in Segovia, and I looked for a place to spend some time, and looked up this place. They are purported to have the best ponche here, and it did live up to it! To me, it tasted like creme brûlée in cake form. I don't know how that's possible, but it... More

This is a terrific pastry shop in the heart of Plaza Mayor. They have a nice cafe in the back where you can eat your pastry and relax with some great coffee. Everything I tried was very good: the traditional Ponche Segoviano (really good pastry with lemon, cream and marzipan), the chocolates, the pastels, and the coffee.

Old world pastry shop in the heart of Segovia. This is the place to go for regional specialties. Small but beautiful shop.

This little place is just off Plaza Mayor. It's perfect for a breakfast or brunch snack and it has a great selection of biscuits and cakes etc....try the ham and cheese croissants and the small chicken pie...delicious. Very reasonable too and they staff are really polite and friendly!!! We'll probably eat there again tomorrow.

Great little place. They have wonderful pastries. Went there to try the Ponche as recommended in the Trip Advisor guide book. Chose to try a very small one because I wasn't sure I would like it and other things looked so good. Tried the cookies and my husband tried a eclair like pastry in chocolate. Loved every bite. we came... More

This traditional Segovian sweet is to die for. The best dessert I had in Spain. The little piece of cake costs 3 euros, but it's worth every cent! Eat it there or have it to go.

Stopped in after lunch on the plaza. Had a much needed coffee (gave up trying to get a waiters attention for coffee) and tried the local pastry specialty. Shared single portion of pastry and we left more than half. Very sweet marzipan covered sweet cake. I'd say "Ok", not "must have". Friendly service. Well made coffee drinks. Lots of other... More

If you like marsipan, the Ponche Segoviano is to die for! We are still drooling...There was also an amazing range of other cakes and pastries, but unfortunately after the Ponche there was not room for anything else! Coffee was also good. Service was excellent.
