Very Spanish !

This rarely happens... I wasn't very hungry. A disaster for a foody on a holiday ! So I looked on tripadvisor for help. Were to eat tapas of a good quality... Since my hotel was on the Plaza Mayor, I looked nearby and El Fogon jumped out. My wife and other children did not want to have dinner at... read more

We went in for lunch and chose from the 'menu of the day' and were so surprised at the excellent quality, presentation and taste of the food. We had lots of good food in our week in Spain, but this was by far the best! The menu was extremely reasonably priced, the service friendly and efficient, and the ambience good.... More

Loved the innovative approach to cooking of this restaurant. Everything I tried, Milhojas de berenjenas, Timbal de pavo, tapas, and revuelto were excellent.

This place emanated a lack of charm, and the chairs were uncomfortable. The waiter had a pleasant smile, perhaps because he had eaten elsewhere.

We were so pleased with the atmosphere, service and food here, especially because it was the last dinner my wife and I had with our daughter and her boyfriend before we headed back to the USA and they began a 2-month trek through Europe. We shared two salads and three "small" plates - and a bottle of Cava- and were... More

I went here with 2 teachers (friends of mine, we travel regularly) and a group of students. We didn't get through the first course - my first friend couldn't finish his salad (which wasn't the one he ordered but he didn't want it thrown out), the cheeses and meats I ordered to share with my other friend were inedible, and... We sat outside and had wine and tapas. The food was very good. The person at the bar who served us was very helpful and suggested some excellent and different dishes for us to try. We are vegetarian and so the change from Patatas Bravas and Tortilla was very welcome.

We had a very nice lunch at this restaurant. We sat at the bar and ordered from the Tapas menu which was very original including a wonderful lamb curry and a cochonillo crepe. Very nice wine selection and a lovely and pleasant server made for a memorable experience. Note the staff did not speak very much (if any) English so... More

Our guide recommended it during our day trip to Segovia as someplace that had won numerous tapas awards, and no one else in our large group went there so it was perfect for us to try... we had beers and a couple complimentary tapas where were very good--then we decided to try a couple of other offerings and we had... We wanted to have an authentic Sefardic lunch. The food was inedible. The "soufflé" did not resemble anything that looked like a soufflé and was made primarily of mayonnaise. We should have eaten the roast suckling pig at any of the other restaurants in town.
