We were so happy with the good and ambience we went twice !! The view from the restaurant into the lit evening square is wonderful. The waiter started a little grumbly but input that down to not understanding each other but he warned up and his suggestions for desert were brilliant. I had fillet steak ( very rare so go... More

We had originally booked a table at Victor Gutierrez, suffice to say dinner there did not happen. We need feeding and headed up toward the Plaza Mayor to soak up the atmosphere and take a couple of beers and decide where to eat. We took a table here outside at around 10.30 whilst having a beer or two we noted they... More

We stopped in the bar for some tapas and looked forward to the ones we had chosen, despite apparent lack of interest by the waiter. Oh dear! Microwaved everything, including some delectable looking pastry which microwaving managed to reduce to chewy slop. I suspect the restaurant is the way to go, but sadly, we won't bother with after our experience... More

From start to finish every course was PERFECT. The location is fantastic and we had a table overlooking the Square....I would have paid another 20% for such a wonderful view. The ingredients used were first class....and so creative. Try the cheese soup added to berries as a desert.....WOW. Service was good. The account was very realistic and made a GREAT... More

This is the sister restaurant of Meson de Gonzalo and is in the Plaza Mayor. Much more casual than Meson de Gonzalo but very good. Ham croquettes, grilled octopus and a Meditteranean Salad were all delicious. An Icecream desert with coffee finished off the meal. Add two glasses of wine and some mineral water and the bill came to just... More

Overlooking the Plaza Major this is an excellent place to eat. The tapas bar downstairs was crammed , the restaurant upstairs small and intimate. Good local pork dishes and innovative starters made this a ver pleasant evening meal. Worth a visit.

I arrived to Salamanca late in the evening so went to the plaza mayor to grab something to eat. When I choose this restaurant I was not expecting what I got. Wow. Amazing. I had the grilles calamari with onions. Very good. The serving was large though. I then had the pork cheeks. I highly recommend these. But nothing topped... More

Dined here with friends. The meal was enjoyable and creative with attentive service although one in the group would have liked more sauce with her dish. I chose lamb which was delicious with a huge portion too much for me but would please someone with a big appetite! Local wine recommended and was very affordable. Super view of floodlit Plaza...
