Good food, friendly service

Read about this place in a guidebook. It was a nice change from the pork paradise that is Salamanca. The mushroom risotto is delicious, and the prawns are worth a try. The house wines are very drinkable as well! The waitstaff was very friendly, which, unfortunately, isn't the norm in Spain!

between us we shared the prawn and mushroom risotto (taste of truffle) and the curry chicken burger. absolutely fab! the cheapest rose on the menu is also very drinkable, and we enjoyed our gin and tonics that came free as part of the burger deal. reasonable price for the quality of food, nothing more than €18 on the menu. the... Best value if you go for lunch, but the dinner menu is great too. One of my favorite restaurants in the city. Try the brownie for dessert!

This was our 2nd night visit as we enjoyed it so much the 1st time.......unfortunately the 2nd visit was a real disappointment.....we ordered the same main courses as previous night but they came out different & not as nice as our 1st visit.....we mentioned it to our waiter but as a language barrier we gave up so we paid up... This little restaurant at the beuatiful Plaza de la Libertad in Salamanca serves excellent mediterranean food.. The restaurant has a nice terrace and a cozy interior. They serve great wines. Try the surprise menu and the chef will surprise you. It's not a cheap restaurant, bur for us it was the best place to eat in Salamanca.

Very charming restaurant with fabulous Italian food carefully prepared. You will be so happy to have found this little restaurant. Everything was delicious. Great vino tinto! One of our best meals and favorite restaurants of our 4 week trip. Fresh, top ingredients ... great service ... beautiful charming decor. Don't miss.

Zazu restaurantezazu.com Away from the crowd We found this very nice restaurant one warm summer evening. It is situated in a corner of a quiet square (Plaza La Libertad 8) not far from the busy walking street and Plaza Mayor. We sat outside and enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere. Needless to say the food, wine and service was excellent. Go for... More

I loved and more importantly remember every moment and bite. The food is delicious and really inspired. Not your ordinary humdrum meal....taste like the chef puts his heart into it. Great ambiance, secret corners, feels like someone gave you the keys to their home, left you the chef, the wine and said just have a great time! Will be back... More
