We loved it!

This restaurant was highly recommended by the hotel and it surpassed my expectations. Tapas and food were excellent. Great choice of drinks and the beer was wonderful! Fresh food and the dessert were amazing. Great find and one of those places you will want to go back to several times. Avoid the tourist traps and eat well here!

Stopped in for a nightcap late one night, and ended up going back for dinner the next night. The food was excellent. I had one of the best deserts ever, a flan/cheese cake kind of dish. We are far from proficient with the Spanish language, but the staff made us very comfortable. Service was great!

We enjoyed the food as everything was really tasty. The starter with tuna was good. The fresh pasta is home made although I was not sure why they put the rucola on top. Also dessert were delicious. Only drawback was the slow service which was a petty given the kindness of the waitrer

OK so this restaurant / tapas / wine bar in central Salamanca is a real find. Not a large place and it gets busy after 9pm (often with locals) but you can belly-up to the bar. The staff are really friendly and knowledgeable about the local produce. Although it is ostensibly a wine bar, they have a small but awesome... More

The concierge at the hotel recommended for local wines and tapas. The four of us arrived around 8:30, they do take reservations, and came to a very casual, local tapas bar, We ordered quite a few different tapas to try, the portions are large for tapas, and enjoyed every one, but our favorite were the different mushrooms dishes. Friendly service,... More

We stayed in Salamanca on our way to Portugal. We found Vinodiario by chance after wondering around for a while at around 6 pm. This is really what I like most: tables outside in a quite square, good wine list with reasonable prices, excellent english speaking service and a selection of yummy aperitif bites. We had cured meats and cheese.... More

We went there on our first night in S., quite late, not late for Spain though. We were sitting outside, where they have a few tables, which was very nice. Majority of guest were locals, as far as we could judge. The service was very friendly, a bit lame but charming. The food was very nice, some even interesting, as... More

If you need a break from the Plaza Mayor and would like to have a glass of wine and some tapas, indoor or on a nice terrace, this is a good choice just five minute walk towards the cathedral. When we were there is mostly locals who lingered a long time at the outside tables. We had wine, the Iberian... More
