Dec 29, 2013: one of the worst meals I've ever had. And an expensive one. How is it possible to serve such low quality food in such a food loving city? All dishes we tried were mediocre: cochinillo, cabrito and entrecot. Only the starter (mushrooms) was decent. When in the hotel lobby they recommend you to go to Don Mauro... More

We had a very good meal in this restaurant. November in Salamanca is quiet but there was a welcoming ambience in Casa Paca. Service good, meal excellent. Quite pricey but worth it.

Nice looking restaurant and pleasant seats outside but service very offhand - the least friendly that we had experienced in our trip through Spain. As a previous reviewer had said they were keen to sell extras. Food was ok'ish but we had eaten a lot better in other places and at much cheaper cost. Wine was also expensive. If we... More

Unusually, we had our hotel book a table for us and our dogs (usually we walk the streets and find something). The restaurant welcomed us warmly, and ushered us to an outside table (no dogs inside in Spain) and were very nice - so far so good, in fact very good. But it soon became clear that they were only... Wanted a relaxing and delicious dinner and it was so bad and expensive that we left totally angry and stressed out. We wanted to sit at a table and were led into a nice room with white table cloths, although the lighting was very bright and the room hot and stuffy. We saw percebes (barnacles) on the menu for 22... We went to this restaurant because it was a special evening. It was over priced and the food was not great. There are so many great places to eat in Salamanca that this was a real disappointment. There was hardly anyone in the place - which should have been a give away and the service was mediocre at best. I... More

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel. Firstly the service was both slow and negligent. Not once were we asked was everything ok. The bread was terrible, hard as a rock and tastless. The prices very expensive for the quality of food received. Lovely location, we were very sad and dissappointed by the whole experience. Avoid, there are far better... More

The restaurant is just ok. The highlight is the service, really good. However the cost / benefit is very low. I don't recommend it.

Try the Chuletón de Buey- huge steak, tender and tasty. You can easily share with someone else if not that hungry. For a slight hunger, choose the Solomillo de Buey- much smaller and in my opinion less "treatening" version of the Chuletón! A little pricy but definitely worth eating there. Its is located near Casa de las Conchas.
