Just OK, a little dissapointing.

It was quite expensive, and the food was just OK, not what I expected. I ordered cochinillo asado,(roast suckling pig), and it wasn't as tasty as when I remember having in Segovia. My husband ordered goat, and told me he didn't think it was that well prepared, and was also dissapointed. We did... read more

Stopped in afternoon and asked for the Menu del Dia. I was pointed to a selection for Wednesday...a stew. Cost 23 euro. Below this, menu said included drink, bread, and desert. So, I tried it...big mistake. They also provided a soup...noodles in broth (yuck!)..carb soup. The stew arrived, and it was the biggest pile of pig fat I've ever seen... More

This restaurant served up an experience I would not wish to repeat. The service was slow and off-hand. I ordered fish soup as a starter - a safe choice that seldom disappoints, except it did, there was no depth of flavour. The bread was dire - it might have been fresh two weeks ago! My main course, sole Menier, was... More

I was recommended this place by some friends but when I went there I definitely thought it was overrated. Bad service and mediocre food. I would not recommend it to anyone else!

The food was very good overall. This restaurant is famous for their suckling pig which was indeed delicious & cut with a plate with great panache. However the service was slow and the restaurant too noisy for a relaxing dinner..

We had trouble finding a place open for dinner at 8:00 and found this from reviews. Food was good, but small portions and a bit high in price. I had duck with chefs sauce and my wife had salmon. Food very tasty. Staff somewhat inattentive and pushy in trying to get us to buy salad, wine, and other selections. I... More

I came here because of the reviews. It's quite expensive and the place is quite elegant. My girlfriend ordered the solomillo which was nice but I ordered the chuleton. I are a bad choice, probably because I'm used to the steak in the north. It was too tough for me to eat. I had it cooked more and they did... More

Salamanca is well known for suckling pig we were recommended this establishment by a local however we were very disappointed the skin was crisp but the flesh was not succulent it could have done with another hour of slow cooking as there were raw areas around the leg joint they also served Italian sparkling water in Spain!!! At 3 euros... More

This is one of those places where you walk in and breathe a sigh of relief because you just know the food is going to be good. Casa Paca is on a corner just off the vibrant Plaza Mayor (which, when lit up at night, is really spectacular). Old chandeliers hang from the high ceiling and the wooden walls are... More

We had a great tapas dinner. It is not the most comfortable place to go because you have to be standing and the counter is quite crowded, but the food is amazing, and the wines quality is high as well. It is cheap and the amount of food is perfect if you want to try many different dishes.
