A VERY good restaurant, if a bit pricy!

This restaurant was recommended to us by our hotel and my wife and I had two REALLY good, very Spanish meals, returning for a second night because we'd so enjoyed the first! The service was excellent and the food delicious. We thought the wine was a bit expensive, but it was of good quality... read more

Been there several times. You can either go for tapas or sit for regular dining. Both options are equally good. Remarkable food in a traditional setting. Old style service with table cloth. Interesting selection of wines. Hard to be disappointed.

I enjoyed very much Casa Paca, they had excellent food and the service was really top quality, although I was lucky to have dinner there with a friend from Salamanca who was a regular and knew everyone very well at the restaurant. The "Lomo" and the cheese platter are really good as starters and they have a fantastic wine selection... More

Travelling from Bilbao to the Algarve decided on an overnight in Salamanca. Whilst taking an evening stroll through this lovely and atmospheric city we happened on this gem. Had lovely olives and white wine to start followed by roast shoulder of goat. A new experiences for me and a thoroughly enjoyable one. Great service so nicely paced and accompaniments also... More

This place is a tourist rip off. They charge extra for pintxos that are not fresh and the 10% IVA is added to your bill.

The restaurant "Casa Paca" is a happy place who is always full of locals. We were there three times, and each time we left it fascinated and satisfied. The service is courteous and professional. Smiling waiters do everything to make us feel homey and comfortable. Wonderful food, from the entrees to desserts (do not miss the wonderful mandarin ice cream... More

Discovered this lovely, typical Spanish place by accident and immediately fell in love. The tapas are simply outstanding, I have never had anything comparable (and I had many Tapas over the years during many trips to Spain). A huge plus was also the absolute absence of tourists, it was clearly a local crowd. Note: I did NOT eat in the... More

We arrived at the Restaurant when it was closed (Siesta Time) . A Man sitting at the Door who I think was the owner of the place told us to return later for Tapas, or for a Full Dinner. When we returned we got a Great Table, with Great Food & Service . Casa Paca is Right in the heart... More

Very close to Plaza Mayor, nice appearance and had been suggested by receptionist at the hotel Rua close by. Service was slow and the staff didn' t seem to be bothered. Food and wine were average but over priced, even for this location.
