Variety and good price

We had a great tapas dinner. It is not the most comfortable place to go because you have to be standing and the counter is quite crowded, but the food is amazing, and the wines quality is high as well. It is cheap and the amount of food is perfect if you want to try many different dishes.

Salamanca is well known for suckling pig we were recommended this establishment by a local however we were very disappointed the skin was crisp but the flesh was not succulent it could have done with another hour of slow cooking as there were raw areas around the leg joint they also served Italian sparkling water in Spain!!! At 3 euros... More

This is one of those places where you walk in and breathe a sigh of relief because you just know the food is going to be good. Casa Paca is on a corner just off the vibrant Plaza Mayor (which, when lit up at night, is really spectacular). Old chandeliers hang from the high ceiling and the wooden walls are... More

I ate several times at Casa Paca and I was never disappointed. Meat is fantastic as well as the fish. The wine from the house is also amazing. Price is a bit high but you are in a nice restaurant with good service and excellent food so it must be considered balanced.

This is reputed to be one of the best tapas bars in Salamanca. It is very traditional in appearance with jamon hanging from the ceiling behind the bar, brown woodwork and wine botles everywhere. We went twice. It was heaving with people at 9 pm on a Sunday evening but empty at 7.30 pm on Monday although started to fill... More

Ate here in the formal restaurant whilst on business in Salamanca. Food was excellent, service perfect and the decor magnificent. Great range of full-bodied red wines on offer, too. Went back for tapas two days later and was well fed and entertained for sub-15 euros. Something for everyone.Try it...

Had a late lunch with some great Tapas & wine. Great selection and great ambiance. The ham was outstanding and service was very good. I would return.

It's busy, it's manic, it's good food and it's fast service - to get a taste of the real Spain, this place is a must. Don't go if you expect a table - it gets too busy for that, but this is bar food and atmosphere at its finest. And rapas is always best eaten jostling for space standing at... More

Just located 100 metres away from Plaza Mayor Casa Paca has become one of the most iconic tapas place in town. You can choose between a huge range of different tapas, some of them really local. It´s also remarkable its wine list so if you are a wine lover and you are not made of money you should try a... More

When the weather is nice in Salamanca, dine outside at Casa Paca. The food is really quite good especially the soups. Inside it is much more elaborate and very busy. If you are a native it is great to dine inside. The wait staff is perfunctory with non natives.
