Delicious, affordable tapas!

Bambu is a place I go every time I visit Salamanca. It has a good variety of tapas at a great price (a tapa comes with your drink); my favorite tapa is a hot ham and cheese square with a slightly sweetened bread on the top and bottom. It gets very busy (and loud) later in the evening, but the... read more

Came here today for a late lunch of tapa and were delighted. Moved on pretty quick to another place which turned out to be a mistake. We had some beautiful ribs and a tortilla that was stuffed with awesomeness(contents unknown). Service was friendly as the guy behind the bar was having fun with my wife's Spanish. We will be back... The place is decorated tastefully which gives a clean and pleasant impression Thier tortilla is made into work of art, so as other tapas. The ribs are roasted so well, that presents a crunchy surface and a juicy inside part, combined with decent seasonig, the dish is just unforgettable. Strongly recommended for drink and tapas in this pretty town

They have a great variety of tapas, including some grilled ones. They also have pizza as tapas. Every drink includes a tapa so it's great for dinner before a night out.

The food was good, the service fast and professional. Not too friendly but that would be difficult considering the language barrier. Overall, a good experience.

This is one of the best (and most hip) restaurants in Salamanca. Like most other places they do traditional tiny tapas. You get one rib or one slice of meat at a time, unless you specifically order a racion which is a whole plate. Unlike a lot of other places, they cook a lot of the food to order -... More

If you go to Salamanca you must eat at this restaurant. The food is wonderful we ate there for two nights. I am very picky about wine, so they let me into their wine cellar to select my wine. When I asked the price of a good bottle of wine it was only €17:00 at home $50:00 plus. The food... More

Great tostas, but the best thing is pincho Moruno, meat grilled and served on toast. It is not always available, and they might growl at you if you ask for it at the wrong time, but that is use part of the fun. Great ambiance and great food!

Bambu is open around the clock and buzzing with all types of people- families, young people, old people, groups and singles. Many people are standing around the bar, socializing and eating. Go to the bar and order your food and drinks- which they give to you instantly. Fun, loud atmosphere with good tapas (the toast with red pepper stuffed with... More

I went in this restaurant with Spanish people. I was impressed by the quality of the different tapas eaten there. I eat there tapas I haven't saw before. Very good site !
