Pizza in León? are you mad? turns out not so ...

I'm much more of a morcilla than margarita kind of man, but after wandering past this place and seeing it rammed with people well past midnight, and a quick look at the iberico ham-covered pizzas on the outdoor tables, took the kids there the next night. You'll never find a more Spanish pizza than... read more

Visited the restaurant today. We were taken to the tables area, and were the only ones there. Went for the selection of croquettes as starter and pizza for mains. Croquettes came out. They were clerly bought in frozen and cooked on site. Nothing wrong with that, unless they haven't been cooked properly. Being daft as I am, had a whole... More

We ate here as we were staying at the Parador and this is within walking distance and we wanted something more simple than the food at the Parador. This place is great, the pizza was excellent as was the service. There was an amazing choice and the place was busy and lively. There was a good choice of wine and... More

Like others we fancied a change to local cuisine and pizza appealed. We had read reviews on trip advisor and decided to give it a go. I ordered the Mexico pizza and my wife a mushroom, ham, egg, pizza. Both were packed with flavour and ample ingredients. Whilst not the biggest pizzas ever I thought reasonable. We had two large... A personal pizza A solo pizza A thin almost cracker type base Its different But expensive for what you get. For that price a pizza should be big and more than fill one tummy.... or a very hungry one. It only filled mine 3/4. However I won't be back, because it is average overall.

I stayed a few months in Spain and I am planning to travel back to Leon just to eat this pizza again. They have many unique combinations that are wonderful. I love this place!

La Competencia is great for tapas, for dinner, and for delivery! It has great thin crust pizza with a large selection of toppings. Salads are also good. If you go for tapas in the evening, it's always packed. La Competencia is a chain in León and you can find them all over the city.

I have been to eat in this pizzeria 3 times in the past 2 years- plus every so often for tapas. I would recommend it for tapas- they give you a small slice of pizza with bacon (for extra flavour)... But the pizza base is terrible- its a cross between a cracker and a wafer. Think thin- but not at... More

Popped in here when in Leon, as an alternative to the endless tapas offerings. We were the only people in around 6pm (early I know), and this seemed to come as a surprise to the waiter. I wasn't sure that he liked us interrupting his football viewing. Anyway, we ordered two pizzas, both of which were very tasty, but nothing... More

To the frozen dough, cheese and other ingridients are added. It's honestly not that bad but I'd definitely not all it...pizza. Although If you are looking for a pizza in town my recommendation is the restaurant Boccalino.
