Good lunch, efficiently served

We enjoyed the 12 Euro Menu de Dias. The food arrived promptly, good pasta salad and a fish in pastry to start, followed by chicken second course - I don't know the names in Spanish. With drink and bread included, this represented fantastic value especially for a city centre, and when one... read more

I have been a regular here 21 years ago as a student having a cojonudo and tinto joven. Just went back and yes, they have added a dining area and menus are also in english but the food and friendly professionalism of the waiters is the same. Make sure to try a cojonudo and some of the decent riberas by... More

Our group of 5 visited this place 4 times in 2 days: tapas before dinner at another restaurant, after dinner, lunch the next day, and after dinner that second evening. The food selections were extremely good and so was the ambient.m but what particularly attracted us was the service. Owners Begoña, José and Luis (three owners) handle the place during... More

Our waiter helped us make good decisions and everything we ate was delicious. His personality also helped make the evening very special!

We had a very good experience here and the service as very pleasant and friendly considering the frenetic environment. Each little dish was a hit!

Must try this place if you are planning to go for dinner around Burgos. We tried "cojonudo" and "cojonuda" and are really good. "Morcilla de Burgos" is really good in this place.

We went there following a recommendation from our hotel but left dissapointed. We ordered one tigre and a portion (racion) of fried chorizo. Tigre (filled and fried mussel) was OK but chorizo was reheated in microwave, chewy and definitely not worth the money we paid. Maybe it was the bad time of the day (afternoon not evening) but they advertise... More

Casa Pancho is set on a street with many, many other restaurants and therefore has to be good to keep so busy. Having had our lunch there today, I can confirm it is indeed good. Even though we were there quite early, it was still buzzing with noisy and happy customers. The service was still prompt and professional and I've... More

Please try the Soldadito de Bacalao (Cod little soldier). Awesome. All the other snacks were also awesome. At least, try one of each! Beer and friends are mandatory in this place... :-) Not very expensive.
