The dining room looked like old Cantabria - dark wood beams with pottery displayed around the room. The food was interesting and delicious.
The food was good but the service was erratic. It was a very cold day and so the fire was very welcome.
Old style family run restaurant with personal service from owner. Slow cooked cordero was excellent but overshadowed by the best Morcilla we've tasted in Spain. Worth the visit.
Food good, evening meal was brilliant and breakfast more than adequate. When we return we will eat in the hotel again rather than trapse around Burgos.
Meson is touted for its roast baby lamb and it does not disappoint. 34 e. For the three course.Menu Tipico, and an excellent Ribera del Duero for 35E. Good Deal...
Fantastic view from the room, but we could hear snoring from the room next to us (terrible sound-proofing) and the service wasn't very good.
Excellent position right in the heart of old town and easy reach of shops. Asked for room with view and was given one on the fifth floor which overlooked the magnificent looking cathedral.room was not large but adequate and clean.'As said previously ignore sat nav route follow signs. Sat nav tries to take you the wrong way down one way... More
The place was nearly empty, most probably because out of season and local people in crisis... The obligatory lambs leg "cordero" was excellen and the wine list tempting, but unfortunately I had to limit to one glass. The view to the cathedral is nice, if you get a window table. The "famous" white cheese of Burgos dit not convince me... More
Bit touristy but good meat dishes and earthy smells. JLR Score 35/50
